Hi, I am an apartment manager in Alberta, Canada. The Residential Tenancy Act states that if anything is taken away that was originally included in the rent, it is considered a rent increase which is not allowed unless it has been a year and a new lease is issued that does not include that service.

I will check that out - thanks....also forgot to add that the 1735 calories is for maintenance - said to lower to 1504 to lose which is what I am trying. I lost those 10 lbs in the first 2 1/2 months and nothing in the past 2...I will continue and try your suggestion. Good luck to us both....

Hello, Welcome! I recently joined as well. I found the information very eye-opening also. I never realized how many calories were in some things. I am trying to lose a little of 100 pounds. Still trying to figure things out but on my way. Good luck....
