I love this. It is exactly what I do. I exercise to eat, essentially. I'm at 1200 a day, but on most days, I burn enough from exercise to eat much more than this.

I agree with you on the JM. But, I think the point the person was trying to make is that a lot of people do think that if they do that for 30 days, they will have a super rockin' body. I would say that most of the people on here understand using it is just a step in that direction.

I like your kind of snacking....

Yeah, I agree. I think that is what is being said. Fad diets don't work because they are too restricting. I'm also one for being the sugar addict. It is really hard to stay at a decent level on sugar!

Thanks for that link. It tells me to eat around 1578 a day. MFP has me at 1280, but I exercise everyday and eat my calories back, so I actually consume around 1500ish calories, so seems pretty close as long as I"m eating my exercise calories back.

Sorry to hear about your son:( I have 3 of my own, and I can't imagine going through the same. Would love to support you in your journey. Feel free to add me.

I didn't have people just looking. I had people coming up as I was working out and asking for my number or trying to have a conversation with me. Really not the time I want to have those kind of conversations!

When I went to an all female gym I loved it, and I went on a regular basis. When that gym closed down, and I had to go to a co-ed gym, I was constantly being creeped on. It really makes it uncomfortable to work out.

I was using an armband but, alas, it fell apart:( I need to get a new one.

Noticed your user name. I live in the St. Louis suburbs, so not too far from you. As far as the getting to dress cruddy and use engineer as excuse, I sort of feel the same way about anthropology. I can dress eccentric if I want, lol.

I have been heavily into MMOs for the past 10 years. In fact I know it is the reason I became so out of shape. I used to blame it on having children, but recently after watching some old home movies, I realize that I was in decent shape a year after my middle child was born, and the weight began to come on after I started…

Being around others with the same mindset is always helpful. I have stuck to my plan longer than ever before, and I know it is because my husband and I are doing it together this time. Feel free to add me!

Great quote! Love this!

At the end of each week I hard boil any eggs I have left. I keep these in a fridge in a bowl and use them as pre and post workout snacks. The yolks are pretty much multi-vitamins.

Mine is open as well.

This post makes me want to buy clothes... :(

I am pear shaped too, but high-waist looks horrible on me because I am short and have a short torso. I suggest going in and trying on different combinations to see what looks best on you. If you buy a suit set off the wrack, I would definitely have it fitted by a tailor. It will be worth the extra money even if it is an…

Chores I could be doing, but I feel like that is all I do (3 kids), so I'm trying to make that a lesser focus in my life. I've already picked up today, completed three loads of laundry, picked up again.... I think you all are right, I must have more energy than I used to. I do yoga and tai chi on my strength training days,…

The shirt I got the most compliments on at work (from women and men) was this: http://www.victoriassecret.com/clothing/shirts-and-blouses/essential-poplin-bodysuit?ProductID=91577&CatalogueType=OLS I had it in purple pinstripe, but it looks like they don't make it anymore. I love the style though because it stays perfectly…

Camisole usually goes under a blouse or shirt if it is sheer or you want to leave it unbuttoned. It can also be worn under a suit jacket. However, some of the camisoles can be worn alone, but probably not to work without a jacket. Shirts category will probably have button down shirts. Tees are t-shirt material.

I'm pretty motivated, but more motivation won't hurt!

VS sells really great fitting pants suits. I like their pants because the inseams come in shorter styles. The jacket I did have to take to the tailor to have the sleeves taken in, but that is pretty normal for me as I am pretty short. When I worked for the USDA and had to dress up everyday, I bought most of my work clothes…

Do you mean this: http://www.amazon.com/TRX-Suspension-Trainer-Basic-Anchor/dp/B002YRB35I/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1375982616&sr=8-1&keywords=trx+suspension+trainer

Is there a specific type of brand or bench that I should be looking at. There are several options on Amazon.
-
This made me LOL, thanks.
-
So you think it is better to just purchase free weights and a bench?

^This Cindy Crawford once said that she wished she ACTUALLY looked like Cindy Crawford.

I don't think a lot of them are actually in shape, just scrawny. However, some of them do look like they work out. VS has recently been promoting their sports clothing, and on their FB page they have a few workout videos with the model's personal trainers. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=vb.243080815702993&type=2…

I have four. Two cheap minimum support bras from Target that I initially bought for yoga, and two medium support bras from Victoria's Secret. I love the two from VS. I bought them on sale so they really weren't too expensive. They match the shorts I purchased from there. Can't wait to buy more!

Wow! So according to this vid, I do not have one! I went to a plastic surgery seminar once when I was looking into getting a tummy tuck, and I was told that I had one. This would have made the surgery cost more, so now I really wonder. My muscles feel solid, no hold to poke fingers through. I'm going to have my regular doc…
