  • I first joined MFP and it worked really well for me, I was super extreme with my exercise + food rationing and stuff. I lost about 60 pounds gradually/in a healthy way, though I still wanted to lose more. Then I got lax and thought I could let my diet slide a bit, exercised less, and gained some of it back bit by bit. THEN…
  • I was lucky in that I didn't have any side effects when I started on Metformin. But I was told by a couple of people and my doctor that it's normal and should only last 3-5 days.
  • Beer, all the way. I love all types. Cider when I can get it. Oh and gin and tonics. I'm not an alcoholic I promise!
  • Keep with it! I'll be honest, I haven't lost a ton of weight since I started 30DS, but I'm guessing that's because I'm building a lot more muscle. I am, however, seeing a difference in my body!   • Pure laziness, I'm not gonna lie. Portion control problems didn't help things. I've lost and gained over the years, but never really been a "healthy" weight. In the process of changing that.
