Always looking for new friends/motivators! Feel free to add me :)

Never been in one, but I do think they are an AMAZING tool for those going through a hard time. Congrats on your participation! That's awesome!

This is a fantastic idea!!

I have the SII and can't wait until my upgrade to get the SIII. Never been an iPhone person.

1. It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. 2.I have to do this for me and no one else. 3. There's a runner in this body just dying to get out!

Awesome pics, everyone! You're all great motivation!

Sending invitations to everyone in this thread! Challenge starts tomorrow! Group can be found here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/9426-brandification-s-holiday-challenge

Awesome goal, Savage! You've been killing it so far, I have no doubt you'll knock this one out too!

You would just issue a challenge to yourself and check in weekly. For example, mine is going to be weight loss. So I would weigh in weekly. If your challenge is exercise minutes, you check in with how many minutes you worked out. It gives you the freedom to personalize your goals, while still having accountability. Hope…

I think I'm going to create a new group for this challenge. I know a couple people who are not members of the 300+ group, but are interested in a challenge to get them through the holidays. Would you all be okay with that?

If you're interested, I'm starting a challenge as of November 1st running through New Year's. The goal is your own, it's just to keep us all on track through the holidays. :) Challenge info is in this thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/777364-anyone-interested-in-a-challenge

Are you keeping account of your sodium? I know that when I started tracking my sodium intake, it kick started my weight loss after a 2 month plateau. Best of luck!
-
Great!! I'll post the thread November 1st! Looking forward to reaching our goals! :)

Bought In This Moment's new album, Blood, a few weeks ago. Had it on repeat ever since.

I started going to the gym at well over 300 lbs and felt awkward every time I set foot in the place. After a while, I finally realized that gyms are for people like me that need to be in there getting healthy! Don't worry about everyone else and what they think. You're doing this for you, to better your life. Best of luck!…

Completely agree! I know I don't function well when I'm being criticized, so why criticize others? I want to help lift people up to feel better about themselves! So glad to have awesome friends like you, Kalyn, who are helping me on this journey! :)

That's an AWESOME nsv and great to hear that it can be done naturally! Congrats on your victory! Excited to be there some day!

LOVE the spicy tuna roll! I end up eating sushi about once a week.

Hey everyone! I'm Brandy. Not new to MFP or this group, just took forever to actually post here. I'm 27, not married, no kiddos. I'm a metalhead and would love to spend every day of my life at a concert if I could. I've been on my current weight loss journey since February of this year and have lost 26 pounds so far,…

I haven't done P90X or Insanity, but I did do Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. If you're interested in something that's less hardcore but still produces awesome results, I'd recommend it. :)

Monday: 88 oz. Tuesday: 72 oz. Total: 160 oz.

Good call!! :D

I'm not sure! I started one a few weeks ago, but they just kinda died out. I miss them!

Same here. I need people who are on the same journey and can relate to everything that goes along with trying to lose 100+ pounds. It's great that some people on here want to lose 15 or 20 pounds, but I feel like I can't relate to them in the way I can relate to people in this group.

Had you eaten previous to that day's workout? I know that's seems like a dumb question, but it really affects my workout if I haven't eaten that day.

I go to the gym 5 to 6 times a week. On cardio days, I do 25 minutes treadmill (walking and jogging), 20 minutes on the arc trainer and 20 on the elliptical. On strength days, I do planks and core training exercises, followed by my gym's 12 minute ab circuit, then their 30 minute full-body workout circuit. I warm up and…
