I broke my Rt ankle once & my Lt ankle 2X , the 2nd time with a tib/fib bone graft . Each time I had the hardware removed. after a year or so. By then the bone is healed, it will re-model to fill the screw holes and in the long run probably be stronger, and definatly feel better.

I'm in Lake Wales - East and South of you - I have canned food - chilli - tuna fish etc - fresh fruit -You have a reprieve from your diet for a few days I also have a generator so I can run the refridge & freezer. I looks like we will get wacked - or maybe it will go more north

Make sure your diet & exercise program is in order before you worry about supplements As mentioned above you should be taking fish oil for general health - also creatine is very beneficial - both are inexpensive Apple Cider Vinegar can help some with insulin sensitivity

with Squats , bench & OH press I start with the bar x 10 - then add weight for 3-5 sets untill I get to my training weight . for Deads I start @ 135 and increase from there

A little daily fluctuation really doesn't make much difference. as long as you keep your macros in the ballpark you should be fine. If you go way over - like eating a pizza or 2 , then cut back for a couple days to even things out. Protien & total calories are your main concerns , but 10 gms of protien is insignificant -…

The only question I have is -- fried or scrambled ?

Smart move - Like Dancing Moosie said , look at the Strong Lifts Program - or Starting Strength - pick one and follow it as writen for 3-4 months or untill you stop progressing - Eat enough protein & don't forget your veggies- you will be pleasently surprised. Right now you don't know enough to design your own program -…
-
That seems like a high volume of lifting along with a calorie restriction - I would ease up a little on the volume as you are just starting. Keep the squat, row , press, & add deadlift. I have some questions - what is your height & weight ? age? How much do you figure you need to loose? What are you Macro's protein, carbs…

Hi y'all - Scottish Heritage here - Clan Ross -

You will get stronger & build muscle - IF you follow the program. It's a beginer program , after 2-3-4 months, when the weight progression stops, you will have to switch to something slse - maybe one of the 531 programs like 531 Boring but Big
-
The 6 day per week looks like too much for a beginner - maybe later. I would start with something like the second program you have listed or look at Starting Strength or Grey Skull
-
Look at those Guns!! - Nice job

Just adjust your calories so you gain 1-2 lbs per month. With a proper weight training program , a lot of that gain should be muscle. Keep your protein intake up, be sure you get enough fat, eat some carbs & don't forget the veggies. What weight program are you following?

Yea - true - but Peanut butter doesn't actually count if you eat it from a spoon - only if you spread it on bread or crackers

[r The best advice is to keep moving - My Dad is 93 y/o -He has had arthritis problems for better then 30 years, he walks slow now, and is kind of crooked. He is just now looking into getting a handicap tag for his car. I think it might be because his girl friend uses a cane to walk & some days she needs a walker.

add Tofu - it's evil - & low fat diet ice cream - I want the real thing - with fat
-
This is a good description of Kale [ it makes a fine roadside weed - and brussell sprouts , you can't put enough butter on them to make them eatable
-
sometimes black coffee - sometimes sweet tea - maybe a peanut butter sandwich on squat days
-
I'm blood type A, and that diet wants me to eat high carb & little or no meat. I actually eat eat the opposite - a lower carb with lots of meat, and it works well for me.
-
How old are you? If you are concerned about your performance on the field, then I would't worry much about the belly - just do more of a re- comp & get stronger & quicker
-
So how often do they have the free pizza?
