I think it's best that I don't actually plan cheat days for right now. Once I'm closer to my goal weight, maybe I will think about it. I compare myself to an addict because at some point food became an addiction. A recovering addict doesn't put themselves in situations that could cause them to relapse. I think it's all…

*Not eating after 7:00pm *Eating a light dinner *If I happen to eat unhealthy, take off the extras, for example, no fries or lemonade with my Chick-Fil-A nuggets, just water *Exercise, Exercise, Exercise, preferably in the morning *Don't be too hard on yourself, when you make a mistake there is always the next day *Log…

Hey Fitness Pal, I know exactly what you mean. It may be time to change your diet a little more and make your exercise a little more challenging. Our bodies are very extraordinary in that they not only adjust to the changes we make, they also adapt. When you first start your weight loss journey at 250 lbs., your body seems…

Don't freak out about slipping up! If you out too much pressure on yourself to not mess up, when you do mess up, you are really going to take it hard. This could cause you to throw away any progress you make with emotional/stress eating. The best advice I can give is to take your healthy eating one day at a time and keep…

Hey all, I just looked up the fitbit tracker and downloaded the app! Is the tracker really as good as it looks on the website?
-
I've seen all the posts, but I was still a little skeptical, but then someone brought up how cheap the price is and I decided that even if I don't like it, it's not much of a loss.

I'm with you with the $7 thing, I think I will take the proverbial leap and just do it!!! Thanks everyone for the great responses!
-
Thanks everyone! I will try the Benefiber a little longer and up my water intake...all of your advice was great!
-
Thank you for sharing! I think a lot of tasks become less difficult and the embarassment factor regarding things you can't do wanes as well.

Thanks for mentioning the sweat issue, I thought I was the only one, I look forward to that aspect improving.

Last weigh-in: 266.7 Current weigh-in: 271.5 Gained weight and I had chocolate for two days at the end of the week. I am sorry for letting my teM down this week, but today is a new day and it starts a new week. I can do better because I will do better!

That's great that you have yourself on a schedule, when you fail to plan in essence you are planning to fail. I also have noticed that when I am eating healthy it is much easier to log and remember what I ate and the amounts.
-
I log any and everything that goes into my mouth...sometimes I forget to log all my water consumption, but food is logged regardless. I used to skip days when I wasn't eating right, but now I understand that there is nothing to be embarrassed about, especially when I am making an honest effort to do better. I have noticed…

I don't think there should be a day of allowance, cheating or treating...how about just one meal or one snack that is a treat? If you give yourself a whole day there is too much of a chance that the day will become two days or more...what do you guys think?

My last piece of chocolate was awhile ago...this week should be great...let's go Team East!

-
That sounds really great!

I'm in! I am sending you a friend request now!

I will definitely check that out! I have been able to do the calorie confusion because my foods are so different from day to day, that my level of satiety is never the same, therefore my portions and meal/snack frequencies change.

The same thing has happened to me and I have even gone days and days at the same weight. I think it is just the plateau or the fact that you gained muscle in the process of losing fat (remember muscle is heavier than fat, but it takes up less room). Keep up the great work with your eating and exercise and in no time the…

Wow in just that short time, you have done remarkably. Keep up the great work!!!

Those are the type of side effects I am definitely interested in...lol!
