I might have gone to one of those. And read the book in one sitting.

Oh, sorry :D The weigh-in sucks - sorry to hear about that. I'm also hovering around the Normal/Overweight cusp, and it's torture.
-
Yeah, my sister loves it too. We have a giant jar in our pantry for some reason. Nobody in our house eats it, although my husband said 'It's alright', which must make him the only person who doesn't 'love it or hate it'.
-
Eeek, that really is bad. Where were you headed? Sorry you had such a wasted day. :/
-
Yes! This is a 'hate it' ad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSp5mrz17Ok

Phew!
-
This is wonderful!
-
Nooo, sorry :( I'm useless. I'd love to see some of your pictures!
-
Hehe! Which things did he want to cross off? If it's curry, then I'm afraid you need to cancel your trip and cut all ties immediately.
-
Well, they do now!
-
Ah. I'm a hater myself, so....

I'm wearing my son's Thor t-shirt, and I kinda like it. (I was summoned to the garage to assist Mr Tubbs, and didn't want to get my nice top dirty. The advantage of having slovenly teenagers is their tendency to leave random items of clothing around, thus negating the need to go upstairs again for a change of shirt!)

:) We'll need a full recap when you get back. You know that, right?!
-
Thanks! I just posted a couple of pics in the Batcave.
-
Aww, sorry - that's got to be tough. Good luck with your plan :)
-
Flippin'eck, what a mess. Huge hugs to you and your mum. So glad that you have each other. :/

George W style 'noo-cou-ler'?

@LBuehrle8 Ok, you're off to the UK very soon. Here's your food list! Some Harry Potter related, some just British stuff that you have to try. In no particular order. (And to the Brits: Yes, I know that nobody in the UK eats like this really! Some of these are just things I miss and enjoy when we visit. Feel free to add to…

Absolutely! Hope things work out for you and your SOs. Any news on your sister's baby?

The thunderstorms in Mexico were truly insane. Our last night there, there was a HUUUGE storm which went around us and out to sea. We stood and watched for ages - the lightening strikes lit up the whole ocean (it seemed). Biggest storms I've ever seen, but only at night!
-
Hope today is better!
-
I lived on guacamole in Mexico! (By which I mean I ate lots of other things too, but managed to get some guacamole in at pretty much every meal!)
-
Thank you! Yes, it was lovely. Very lazy and relaxed; just nice family time really.
-
Oh my goodness, @bkhamill! That baby is the cutest little thing! How adorable - look at those big eyes. How is your daughter doing?
-
Yes, indeed we are!

I'm back from vacation (will try to post a couple of pictures later) but just wanted to say Hi! There's no way I can catch up, so I'm just going to jump right back in there. It's great to see some old faces back on the thread!
-
I'm here! Are you missing me?! I'm in Mexico and I'm definitely gaining weight. Damn you, all inclusive buffet and bar! Last time I was away I gained a pound for every day, but only one was 'real' weight, so I'm hoping this time is similar. Best wishes to all! I'll catch up when I'm home on Friday. xxx

M Class Planet!! (Come on! I know I'm not the only Star Trek nerd...)

ETA: Also, I think even the professionals look for ASD less in girls.

Don't forget that Asperger's no longer exists, according to the DSM V. It now falls under the ASD umbrella. My son wouldn't have been given the Asperger's diagnosis anyway, because of his early language difficulties. We were told categorically that he was NOT autistic when he was 5, but like you I always suspected he had a…
