Okay, so my opinion is that it depends on your body type. I personally prefer to think of my body type as a fuel saver...I can eat little and it lasts for a long time... but at the same time, I KNOW I have gained weight when I haven't eaten much each day (spent about a year doing this. little tiny bits of food at a time,…

if I say "bump" does that mean I get to see this thread again?(I have no idea what it means). anyway, I'm 5'8.5ish but always had a smaller frame (was the scrawny kid in highschool)- SW 175 CW 172 (though it had been down to 168:S). looking to get down to 130. I was 130 on my wedding day two years ago. looking forward to…

Yay! That's where I'd like to be (at 135) great to see that it IS possible!

My goal weight is around 130-135. I weighed 125 when I got married two years ago and would love to be the same slender person I was. I had a pretty small chest and bigger thighs/butt, that was always my shape, but when I gained my weight I became an hourglass. I'd prefer to stay that way but it will depend if I lose the…

I love the show too!! But you are right...this is why we as North Americans are overweight! Or at least, one of the reasons that SOME are overweight. Not everyone gains weight because of food habits.

I had a hard time drinking my water when I first started MFP but all I do is have a glass beside me ALL the time and when it's empty, I refill it right then. Because I see it, I drink it. And because I've made it a habit to refill it as soon as it's empty, I do it without thinking about it now. Plus, when it IS empty, I…

haha love it. it's true. if you stop eating your body will go into starvation mode and hang onto every bit of fat in your body!!! that's partly how I gained so much weight- I wasn't eating enough or regularly. didn't help that I was on a medication that caused weight gain, either, though. I've learned from being on MFP for…

I just started doing this today, and have only eaten two meals (breakfast and dinner) - skipped snacking because my breakfast was more calories than I expected. Still not really sure how all of this works together. Have had 8 glasses of water & one apple juice today, too

I am hungry now and I had water before and after my meal. But I'm also over my calorie limit by 400. Any suggestions? I feel like I won't be able to sleep without eating more. Is this just my stomach needing to get used to having less food in it? it's literally growling...
