Why do you have to count calories? If you just eat a little of everything you should lose weight. This isn't really the same thing but a big pet peeve of mine is people saying that they eat healthy that don't. I know it isn't their fault if they don't know what healthy is, but I wish these people would track their calories…

I am at 171ish size 10-12 pants and L shirts. Want to be 145ish 6-7 pants M shirts.

I started off running on an indoor track, over two years ago. At the time I was quite a bit heavier, and only could run half a lap at a time (on a 14 laps per mile track). It got easier and easier to go farther and farther. I did a bunch of 5ks, but was really only doing Zumba at the time other than the races and got a…

Honestly it is a mental thing. When you stop seeing it as a race to a finish line but as a lifestyle that you are going to continue for the rest of your life, you won't gain it back. If you make changes that and stick with them you won't gain it back. That being said, in the past I have let things get away from me like…

Sept 23, day of my half marathon! Or the 30th, my Golden Bday! Or whenever, as long as I don't weigh MORE by then:)

Forgot to mention the perks: Never feeling guilty for being there and not somewhere else. Where else could you possibly have to be at 5-6am? :) Not missing a workout because things came up Easier to stick to a routine for above reason Negatives: Hard to find buddies to workout that early (atleast for me) getting up leaving…

I have done the early morning thing in the past, and now my night workouts seem to be comprimising time with family ect so I am going back to the early morning stuff. Hardest for me is getting out of bed and sneaking out without waking 2yo daughter lol but once I am there I am fine. Also going to bed early a little tricky,…

Yes. Definately raise them especially if you exercise. The 1200 worked for me for awhile, but I workout alot (have a hrm and often burn over 4,000/wk) and stopped losing weight until I started eating most of my ex cals, also changed my settings to lose 1lb/wk and that bumped up my cals to 1390. I honestly am to the point…

Maybe change up what you are eating? Or you could do more calories some days less other days... I can't see your food diary you have it locked to check that. What are you doing for workouts? Some change there might make the scale budge too.

I too have been a Weight Watchers member, more than once. The main thing that Weight Watchers has over any online site is the face-to-face meetings and weigh ins. I started running my own weight loss challenges to make up for this and join any in person ones that I can. Currently I am running one 9 week challenge with…

Dinner, but I often split my dinner into two "meals" depending on when my workout is going to be. Eat a little before, eat the rest after.

I tell people if they ask. Many people know exactly how much I weigh because sometimes I post it on here, I run weight loss challenges, and I have a facebook group that I post it in. Its nothing but a number... and I am proud that I have gotten as far as I have:)

I have been lighter, but I am by far the best in the best cardiovascular shape and the strongest I have ever been... and plan to get lighter, faster, and stronger still! Age: 29

tasty and healthy though I like them too:)

I make something like this with the sauce on the side for my 2yo since she loves dip lol.

I agree with the idea of making this a lifestyle change and not just a diet. What really gets me is the people who don't eat any of their exercise calories, eat a bunch of crap or drink a lot of shakes to replace meals, or skip meals, and then are so proud of themselves for losing tons of weight fast. If your only goal is…

I LOVE CHOBANI! Buy the big containers, most likely a better deal than the individuals. Expensive, but worth it.

These types of shoes will be called dance shoes usually but some cross-trainers also seem to have made the lists.
-
There are lists of recommended shoes online- but the main thing you are looking for is shoes that are not "sticky" aka no running shoes. You want flat low tread bottoms that can move easily across the floor. Good shoes make a big difference in Zumba, and also can help prevent injury because Zumba is hard on the knees.

I looked back a week or so into your diary and maybe eat more for breakfast/lunch? I see that you have carnation shakes and slim fast for quite a few of your meals.

1. I am not sure if I don't want to have more kids (I have 1) because I want to have a career (graduate in dec), am afraid of gaining weight back (at -88, 60 some of that gained while pregant!), or because I don't want to start over with another baby. All of these reasons I believe I might be selfish. 2. I have a very hard…

I totally agree where are the dads? I have a 2yo who HATES the daycare at the Y, cries within 2 minutes and doesn't stop so I have given up on that for the time being... I mostly workout at night and she stays home with dad. He's on a business trip this week but luckily my mom knows how important to me it is to work out…

NSV- Recently signed up for a half marathon to celebrate my 30th birthday, and I have been writing "13.1" on my arm in sharpie every day since! Mother of 1, student, work from home, work out alot, eat mostly whole foods limit processed and junk, about 25-35 more to go, but have lost over 80 so that was a total of over 100 needed to lose originally. Add me if you like:).

I am really on the fence about this. I am scared to eat them! It also doesn't help that I work out an night usually and I don't want to be eating all those calories at 10pm. I do work out a lot and have been stuck for awhile.

I used to be a cardio queen (lol) but now I lift 2-3 times a week AND do a bunch of cardio. Feel free to add me:)

I signed up for a half marathon to celebrate my 30th birthday in September, might be a celebration of hitting my goal but I am not sure! (Still have another 25-30ish lbs to go). I am sure though that it will be a celebration of being in the best shape of my life! And of course, I want new clothes. I guess I will have to…

Umm... I am kind of a workout gear junkie. 1. Heart Rate Monitor: helps me keep an accurate count of calories burned, time spent running, and keeping a steady pace running. 2. Gym Membership: to be able to go to fitness classes, and use a variety of equiptment, if you go it is definately worth it. 3. Mp3 player: also helps…

I have a HUGE eighties toy collection just sitting in bins right now nowhere to put it! I loved Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, Smurfs, Pound Puppies, and My Little Pony. When I get the ambition I am going to try to sell it on Etsy!
