What I like about Weight Watchers over MFP is the in person weigh-in's and meetings. I feel more accountable to something that is in person... right now I am tracking on both sites because I also love MFP!

The most I ever burned in an hour of Zumba was 600 something... The times I have burned over 1000 were from over 2 hour workouts like running a half marathon :). That got me 1600ish if I remember right

I am not really new to Weight Lifting, I have been doing Group Power (similar to Body Pump) a barbell lifting program for going on two years. I did my first workout, I have already decided just to do it as is :). Thanks for everyone's input.

What is the android app that you are using for editing the excel file?

The calories that MFP gives as a daily target ALREADY HAD A DEFICIT BUILT IN. Somewhere in this thread I read that you are 200 and some lbs. 1500 calories for someone of that height seems to be what MFP would say - but I bet your BMR (basal metabolic rate: the amount of calories that you would need if you just did…

I am considering trying to reduce my meat intake - I am looking for vegan and vegetarian recipes. Seeing some vegetarian and vegan diaries could be a great help! Please add me :)

I have a zipper pouch that is waterproof- like a makeup case one. I put my phone in that, and then since I wear two sports bras (lol) I put the phone inbetween the two in the front.

5 miles that is not 5k :)

I am running 2 5's, and one longer run a week (running with a club so it varies). I am also lifting 2-3 times per week.

I would like to meet some of my MFP friends that I do not know from real life!

I do regularly burn over 1,000 in a day, but that is usually running 5 miles plus an hour long weight lifting class.
-
I use an HRM and I never would burn 1,000 calories in an hour! I think I burned like 1500 doing my half marathon last year, but that was in two hours and forty some minutes! :)

I used to do the elliptical. I think the reason why the elliptical gets a bad rap because some people *myself included* do not push themselves that hard on the elliptical. I could burn alot of calories on an elliptical while bearly breaking a sweat. Another problem with cardio in general is that sometimes people only do…

It is uncooked. I would weigh it dry and then weigh it cooked too and write down what it weighs cooked. I made a list of different types of grains and noodles weights cooked to make things easier on myself.

I am going to go check this out! Do you need to log stuff from an app or have an iphone or anything else crazy like that? I found a different one, I forget the name but android wasn't supported:(.

What if they just leave stuff right on your desk? What should you do then if you don't want it?

I agree with most people starting out not being very successful. I was active before I started running, but it took me a long time to actually like it, and that is what I would credit for my success (I ran my first half marathon this year). For me, one day I just liked it, the farther I went I liked it more and more, and…

As for fitting exercise in this might sound crazy but the best time I have found to workout is in the early mornings, Before anything else like 5-6am. Its hard to get up early at first, but the benefits are great if you have a busy schedule! - I never feel guilty that I am working out not doing something else because…

My measurements have changed, I have made improvements in my pace, I am 23 pounds from my ultimate goal, 14 pounds from healthy range for bmi. I guess I phrased this question weird, I am asking how much will losing weight help my pace, NOT how a faster pace will help me lose weight:). I was looking for others who saw a…

Omg I feel the same way about the shirts! My friend and I are going to cut/tye-dye/bedazzle our shirts and where them to those races next year that is our plan. I went from running 5k's to a half marathon and now I am thinking full marathon and triathalon... who am I lol

I would also like to add that even after all this time I let my eating get a little out of control once in awhile still! I just try to do better the next time. Like christmas for example: 2 years ago gained 10lbs back over the holidays, last year 5lbs, this year I am shooting for 2.5lbs lol.

I have lost 97lbs, and it has taken me over two and a half years. Maybe it would have taken me less if I never slipped up, but that is not reality, and I have only gotten this far because I am not going to give up, and I allow myself to have slip ups. I ate way to much candy too, but tommorow is another day! I even logged…
