  • Hello everyone...sounds like progress is in the works! SingRunTing ...I like your plan! I have been vacillating between 127 and 129 for WEEKS. I am great with diet and daily exercise (fitbit) walking/cycling but am unable to knock down the last 5-7 lbs. Out of frustration (and also a need to offset a terrible daily…
  • Snowed in today but using the time to clean and exercise. Stayed w/c calories this week, but no significant loss. Up and down by 1/2 lb...will try to increase liquids and strength. Have been on a new RA medication, starting to feel some side effects. Makes me feel kinda blah :-( Hopefully the cost/benefit thing will work…

Much needed guidance after dual arm surgeries. Slow but sure...getting stronger. Goals today: -long walk w/dogs; gym for weight training; cardio at home -increase…
  • I have been doing battle with a chest cold. Still walking 1/2 hr. at lunch and eating well. Have been tempted by almonds and walnuts lately. Am adding a few back into the program..will do my best to use restraint. Most vulnerable time to snack is when I'm sick. Goals for today: 1. stay within calories 2. 11- 12k steps 3.…

  • Have not had a good stretch...gained 2 lbs. feel like failure is mine...sometimes I think I should give up up on this. I eat extremely well-no junk food EVER. My worst vice is walnuts and craisins on salad, (but in quantity)! Healthy choices are easier as I am a celiac. But I probably don't get as much exercise as I should…
  • :)) the quit sugar recipe really worked for me. Can you provide any link or more info? I am consuming large amounts of Splenda-knowing it is hazardous. Any help would be appreciated!
  • I have been way off track. Not sure why my motivation is flagging these last few days. After busting my daily calories for 2 days, I felt worse spiritually and physically. That alone will help me to get back in control...it's simply less painful to be good.
  • I'm bummed...motivation beginning to fade. Had dinner party with friends and am am sure I went way over calories. Going to re-group today and get back on track. So below40% tho'...

  • Feeling frustrated. Think that I need to up my exercise....have been carefully logging, but weight hasn't moved this week. I usually walk 1/2 hr. rapid pace daily plus fitbit activity. I am at 21.5% of goal and need to do something different to increase loss. Trying to stay positive...
  • I entered my weight early....busy traveling tomorrow. Am wondering why the percentage of short term goal achieved to date didn't change with an increase in weight loss. Any ideas
  • You have inspired me! I walked 3 miles yesterday and do at least 30mins. fast walk/day at work. Have been keeping within calorie limit and tracking steps (12,000/day) with Fitbit. Finally seeing slow progress. Need to step up my work outs but am recovering from hand/arm surgery. Moderation is key. Thanks to all of you...I…
  • The most important lesson I re-visited this week is to believe in yourself and your goals-anything is possible. Keep reminding self why you want to lose weight...and where you want to be. This, along with the support from other members helped me re-gain perspective this week. My plan for the next 10 is to incorporate more…
