I skip the caffeine with Phentermine in the mornings. The pill gives me more energy and makes me feel more alert than a cup of coffee does. Sometimes in the afternoon, I'll have diet soda for caffeine, but that's maybe once a week.

This is so me here! Plus, I also have about 50 more lbs I need to lose! :grumble: I do feel confident this time I will be able to keep the weight off. Eventually I know I won't need the pill anymore, but i will wean off it when I get closer to my goal...as long as my doc agrees, of course! Thanks again!

So since your doctor treats it as an obesity med like a bp med, does that mean you will be on it forever? I do not want to use it that long! :noway: lol! I hate taking meds in general, but I do see my doctor this week, and I trust him, so I will be sure to question him with all my concerns. Thanks so much for your help.…

Thanks! Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking, but he does do ekg's every 3 months too. My heart and bp have always been ok. I think I'm more afraid of the addiction. :frown: I go see him again next week, so I'm gonna be sure to ask him!
