My family is the furthest thing from supportive. My mother is severally mentally ill. She regularly tries to bring me down to her poor fitness and self-loathing ways. I don't have the answer to make it better for you. This sight is the best place to start, you will find such great support. Try your best to always remember…

I'm always an open door to anyone who needs a little motivation. :) I am unfortunately better at motivating others then keeping myself on the straight and narrow. I've been struggling to refind my mojo for several months, but what is important is that I'm still looking for it! :flowerforyou:

Someone previously mentioned logging before you eat. I highly encourage this. Another thing someone mentioned, is planning and cooking for yourself. If you are a great cook, which I suspect you are, then you have that advantage. Make things you really enjoy that fill you up and are lower in calories. Keep them at eye level…

I've been married for 15 years but my husband is in the Navy so he is off the hook this year. I made him a deployment kit. It has photos of my in a sailor dress and hat and a photo holder of various photos he has never seen with silly saying and quotes. Plus I made a memory book and calendar. All things he can take on the…

It's very tastey and a little goes a long way. I make mine with tahini (which is sort of a sesame paste) and its fantastic. I know Bob Harper's newest book had a recipe that involved little to no oil but I havent tried it yet. You can also add things like roasted peppers and garlic. Yummy. Give it a try. :)

You can't go wrong with Weight Watchers Taco soup. It is super easy to prepare and around 200 calories for a pretty good size bowl.

Wow unreal results. Awesome job!!

Have you tried pork? Or a well marinated beef like tenderloin? I have heard that quinoa is high in protein but Im not sure about carbs. There are also ground chicken/turkey options that might help. You could make your own taco meat or meatballs? I personally like protein drinks and I do love chicken. My favorite protein…

Boy do I understand! HUGS I take lexapro once a day and clonazepam 3 times a day. I recently had to increase to three times a day due to palpations, dizziness, muscle weakness etc. It felt like a heart attack the first time. I have severe stress at home and my doctor told me I am start to get panic attacks. It is really no…

I wish I had the answer for you. This has always been a struggle for me. I had an abusive childhood and food was the only form of comfort I had. As an adult, it's still what I use. I use to exercise a lot but with a recent injury I haven't been able to. Just try you best everyday, don't give up. Every morning when you wake…

I was reading Bob Harper's Skinny Rules book. He said to have a full glass of liquids with a scoop of fiber 15 minutes before eating a meal. He says it will help feel full sooner. Just an idea. :)
