Sounds like something I need to do. The carb cravings are fierce for me, too, and I need to do something about it. I usually am under on my proteins and meat does fill me up more and for longer. Let's work on it together!

I'm in the same boat and just like everyone has said, I am an emotional eater. I've been on mpf for a little over a year but have been struggling lately with eating too much and in turn, a real lack of energy. I also just got married so it's been a cake and rich food fest for a few weeks. I have some great friends and…

I was really pumped to have one on my hip redone (into a beautiful colorful peacock) when I lost my first thirty. After ten more, I'm getting a vine down my side. I'm really looking forward to it, pain and all! Love your ideas, people.

Google search "fitness ecards" (images). They always make me smile. Adding you... funny people are the best. :)

I've been here a year and have developed some amazing friendships along the way. I'm thirty pounds less & way more fit and I know for a fact that the support I've gotten has made all the difference. I'm here everyday and would love to be there for you (and anyone else) and watch you get in the best shape of your life. If I…

$400 is what I'm going to pay for mine in Memphis. (Oh, I forgot tips on everything so it'll be more like $500+.) Are you still looking around or do you have quotes from specific people you like?

Hi! I hope this site and having new (fitness) friends helps you as much as it's helped me. The support makes all the difference. I won't judge you about what you eat, I promise. Having your diary open is good. Hope you are off to a great start and if there is any way I can help, let me know. I'm here daily (usually in the…

Amped and buoyed is my new favorite phrase!

WOW! You look SO healthy now! You should feel AMAZING cause you are doing the hard work and it's paying off, girl!!! Very happy for you and I'm glad you posted. :)

That's SO awesome, Steve!!!!!!!!!! You are a true inspiration with how you've changed your habits and lifestyle. You are really lucky to have such a supportive family, too. You've probably inspired them too. Friending you so I can watch your progress and cheer you on from the sidelines! You ROCK! :)

It seems like every month I forget that this is what happens so it still freaks me out when I jump on the scale and it's changed that much. I agree with everyone else though that it isn't permanent. Hope you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you haven't done anything wrong! :)

Added you:)

5'6 SW: 185 CW: 154 GW: 144 I'd love to have some new girlfriends with similar goals. It's been super helpful to read this topic and I've gotten some good tips/inspiration from it. I'm 33 and with the help of my current pals, I'm back in pretty good shape. I'm ready to take it to the next level. Good luck, girls!

HI!! Was I happy to read your post about the home stretch or what!?! I have been working since March and have lost 31 pounds the right way.. the hard work pays off way. :) I have five more to lose before I am going into maintenance mode and there are so many emotions going off for me right now. Most of the emotions are…

Fitbit Aria scale is the bomb, though.

Do the stairmaster or the stationary bike and it pretty much says your sleeping. No, really, I love mine & have been wearing it for months but there are still some kinks in the fitbit world. I don't even have mine synced with mfp since when I did, all my numbers seemed incorrect.
-
Adding you both! Love new friends & I'm here daily to encourage mfpals!

Love that. Just started and it cracked me up but didn't deter me in any way. ;)

Hey Scott! I read your profile and it totally sounds like you can reach your goals!!! You're already headed in the right direction and you know you have done it before so you can do it again. I just started jogging (after wondering what it was that drove people to run) and I caught the bug, somehow. (I'm as slow as a…

Hi! I'm getting married in April and it's starting to feel close! I've got 5 or 8 pounds to lose and although I've lost 30 since Feb, I'm having a little trouble getting the scale down to my goal. I started working out at the gym this summer and I know I'm just building muscle right now. I'm not giving up and I'll keep…

Yes. I am currently in therapy, weekly. While emotional eating is only a part of what we talk about (I have many other issues;), it has helped me delve deeper into why I think the way I think and do the things I do regarding food & lifestyle. (I emotionally eat/binge. I do not have anorexia or bulimia.) The poster above…

You sound like you've been through so much. Me too. (Birthmom is gone, Papa was a rollin' stone;) Let's do this together and give ourselves the life that they would want for us. :)

gigantic... I'll be truckin' along doing just fine, feeling alright and then, boom! I see a reflection of myself or a photo and I get really discouraged and disappointed. Lucky to have an awesome therapist.

Wow. It sucks that so many people can relate but it has somehow comforted me to know I'm not alone. Thank you for asking such an interesting question. For those of you who shared your story, your honesty is appreciated. I can't wait to see what question you ask us next, Dr. Panda Bear. ;)

I have to get up every two hours to pee since I drink so much water!!!!!!!!! It kills me to have to fall asleep five times a night and sometimes I can't. It's a tough balance because I'm working out so much, I really need the water. Need the sleep too. It would be so awesome to sleep through the night, wouldn't it?!
