Don't mess with your knees!! I took a rest day in L1 and I was good as new after that. If you are afraid that you will lose your momentum by taking a day off, go for a walk or hit an elliptical or stationary bike.

Ditto on being sick & tired!! I think I'm going into a flare, ugh. Feel free to add me, we can vent and rally together!

You'd better go run some laps STAT!!

Love this idea!

Y'all are all awesome, thanks for sharing your pics! There's nothing more motivating!!

Awesome, it looks like you lost a lot more than 5 pounds!

A lot of us have been like that at one point or another. Or at a lot of points over and over again! As others said, it's mostly in your head (although I do think your body craves certain things, especially when your hormones are out of whack). It's so easy to get in the cycle of eating, beating yourself up, and then eating…

I went from pretty much complete lethargy to the 30DS, and I have a chronic pain illness. You can do it! The first 3 days are terrible and you might need to take a break from your other workout. Don't be afraid to take a day of rest. Everyone seems to want to do 10 days in a row of each level, but your muscles need…

That must feel good! Way to go!

What I've been doing the last few months is thinking of the next event that I will attend where I might have my picture taken. Kinda like what you did for your wedding. I need something concrete that will push me to look better!

I took a day of rest after day 4, did day 5 last night, and saw a HUGE improvement in my endurance! I actually threw in a couple of big-girl push-ups  I think the day of recovery made all the difference.

Ditto to that answer... Just to let you know, I can gain 4 pounds overnight due to water weight, and lose it all a few days later!

Keep it out of the house. Especially if you are emotionally compromised! I know that obsessive feeling. And the more you do it, the more you will think everything's out the window already, so oh well. First step to getting your motivation rebooted is detox!!

This one says hourglass but I've always been an apple before. I prefer hourglass!

I don't have any friends yet and I love food, but even more than that, I hate exercise!! Could use some buddies!

Dealing with pretty much the same thing at home, and my height/weight are very close to yours. My boyfriend has done P90x probably 3 times now, and he'll make a point to just have, well, pretty much nothing for dinner. He also has a really high metabolism. He talks a lot about calorie counts/fat content, and I pretty much…

So modest  You look great!

The most important thing is getting your heart rate up. My mom is one of the toughest women I have ever met. She is a nurse and works out doing hard cardio 5-6 days a week. On Saturdays she can be at the gym for 2-3 hours. She also has fibro. Needless to say, when I was first diagnosed she didn't have it in her to feel…

Wow, potatoes seem so innocuous. That sucks. Good for you for figuring it out though. I know sugar does it for me, but that's the only diet-related trigger I've found so far.
