Hi! I am also doing a low carb diet/Atkins. I started 11 days ago and I've lost 7lbs already! :) I also have PCOS so carbs are my bodies worst enemy :( Feel free to add me, too. I need more low carb buddies! Jade. X

Yeah! I get what you mean, my weight always goes straight to my middle, stomach, boobs, hips and back so I look really plump and chubby, yet my legs, arms and chest have hardly any fat on them at all! It's really hard to get dresses to fit me properly :( I will look into lifting sunofabeach, thanks for the tip!

I don't do any strength training, I only do cardio. I don't think I have a lot to lose, but I am over weight. I am only 5ft 2" and before I started dieting I was 11 & a half stone, I am now 11 stone and I want to lose 1.5 stone or 2 stone.

Ooooo I never thought about weighing fruit or vegetables, I weigh other foods though! Yeah, I guess 1lb a week is good, I'm just being impatient because I'm going away in May. Oh yeah, and even though I've lost 7lb in 7 weeks, I can go 3 weeks without losing a thing, and then I'll lose 3lb in two weeks. It is so random!…

Okay, so from the majority of replies on this post, I am definitely going to up my calories to 1500, and hit the weights and gym a bit more. I hope it helps. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR HELP. x

I go on the exercise bike for 30 minutes on random, and I run on the treadmill for 15-20 minutes (3 times a week). My stats are I am 22 years old, i weigh 10st 11lbs (151lbs), and I am 5"3 height. I am wanting to be around 9 - 9.5 stone (133lbs). I drink around 2-4L of water a day, plus 2-3 mugs of green tea as well.

Thank you so much. Well, I made an error and I never measured myself before I started the diet and exercise. But everyone's replies has made me feel a lot better, I'm hoping that this is the case. Does the muscle gain still apply if all I do is cardio at the gym? I don't do any weights?
