I guess I should have added that I have a 1 year old and 11 year old, so my belly has been stretched out twice.

Lifting how much? Will sit ups help? My stomach feel like a jello wall but I feel hardening behind the fat. Is this a long process to go away? I am pretty consistant and dont give up on nothing.

Portion control and 30minutes - 1 hour a day of exercise or walking. Walking and Running helped me 36 minutes per day 6 days a week. You need to just set goals and stick with them.:smile:

I am dealing with the same thing and I am 30 years old. All I can say is change up your excercises that is what people told me and continue what you are doing because eventually those numbers will change. A guy told me do not focus on the number think about consistancy and your numbers are hanging around the same neighbor…

The digital scales can be a bit tricky :happy: It drives me crazy at time although they are just numbers and I need to understand that. I just get frustrated at times, because I be wanting to see accuracy after I have bust my butt and worked hard.

I purchased my scale from walmart and it seems to be in the right neihborhood far as weight. I think my floors are a little un-even at my home that is why it may changes on a constant bases. Thanks ladies you all are the bomb! I guess I need to learn how to use my body weight at home. I hate doing push ups and it hurts very much, but I guess it is time that I start. I know there are other excercises that are out there to help me, but I just need to do some research.:smile:

You are right I am way past due on my strength training. I have very limited options not having a membership to a gym. I will soon make that an investment in my fitness.

I do like the digital scale, because they are easier to see vs looking at the tiny little lines on the other scale trying to figure out how much I actually weigh.

I really did not want to pay $50 for a gym membership and did not lose weight. I wanted to make sure that I had a purpose and trying to do things right this time around.

Also tdelo 7634 if you did not read my orginal post well I have lost my weight from from cardio and dieting and not going to the gym sir.

Thank God I am one that was fortunate tdelo 7634 that I never had to go to the gym however, now that I am 17lbs away from my goal by God grace I can go now if you are being sarcastic.

I started walking and jogging along with dieting in October and have lost 15lbs already. I am sure I could have lost more but I was not strong enough to control my eating and drinking habbits at social events. I know the holidays are not every day and you can get past the holidays and get the job done. I am proud of myself…
