There's no specific "right" goal, but I personally have mine set at 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fat

Why the heck aren't you eating back your exercise calories?!
-
Try foods like peanut butter or almond butter. Any kinds of nuts will be plentiful in fat. Another popular choice would be avocado, and maybe try cooking with olive oil!

Calories in < calories out. That's all there is to it.

Hot chocolate and Splenda. I hate the taste of coffee on it's own, so I use Swiss Miss Diet cocoa packs.

Umm can you just like move in with me? I mean seriously, every single thing there looks TO DIE FOR!

Just so you know, I wouldn't recommend weighing yourself at the end of the day, because our weight can fluctuate immensely due to water and the food we've consumed throughout the day! If you want an accurate reading, weigh first thing in the morning after using the restroom, and make sure you don't have anything on.

Lol it's not even because Americans are losing weight. The numbers are staying the same, it's just that other countries are starting to surpass us!!
-
I force myself to be accountable for everything when I binge, so knowing I'm going to have to log every single little thing makes it that much less appealing!
-
It was my first binge... -5 ounces of pork -5 tbsp of peanut butter -2 baby back ribs -3 peeps -5 mini packs of M&M's -4 mini packs of Skittles -1 Chocolate covered marshmallow egg -5 very large handfuls of Lay's potato chips -1 Monster energy drink This took place at the very end of my day, so keep in mind this was in…

Usually 200-300 calories. I usually don't really get hungry until around 4 pm so I don't force myself to eat
-
Peanut butter, tortilla chips, and cereal. I don't know hat it is about those foods, but they always tend to make me eat way more than I should. I also find it impossible to eat these foods in moderation :grumble:

I'm a big meat eater for sure. I have nothing against vegetarians/vegans, and I feel like if I never question them on their choices, they shouldn't question me on mine. To each their own:)
-
Instead of eating peanut butter I eat PB2....well for the most part;)
-
But I feel like setting myself at lightly active (1-3 hrs of exercise a week) is going to be less accurate than manually inputting my calorie burns..
-
I feel like I am doing myself a massive favor by forcing myself to be accountable for every single thing I eat when I binge. When I force myself to log it, it helps.

I've definitely experienced some pretty similar things in the past. But I eventually figured out it was because I wasn't eating enough, and that was causing me to be really irritable all the time. Make sure you're eating enough!!

[/quote] "Okay yes. This is my poor choice of wording. What I was trying to say is that people over exaggerate. "I binged on a bag of Doritos". No, that is just giving in. A binge is more uncontrolled. I have had people on my friends list say things like "I'm going to enjoy myself at [inset family event] and not care" then…

I've discovered something similar. I find that when I cut out most processed carbohydrates, I stop craving them. I could literally eat a box of cereal in one sitting, but if I don't eat it regularly, I have no desire to eat it!

Umm...everyday? Fats are a vital part of a nutritious diet, so eat them and just make sure they fit into your macros
-
Usually Oroweat, but I'm totally open to any and all types of bread!!
-
Your progress is so inspirational! And might I add, you are very beautiful:)
-
Not being able to eat enough to get to your 1200 calorie goal = 1st world problem...
-
Do you have a medical reason for going low carb/fat?
-
You're just going to have to try and find the closest thing you possibly can in the database..Not much else you can do:ohwell:

I heard this once, and it really helped me to change my mindset... "If you break an egg, you're not going to throw the other 11 on the ground are you?" The point is, you can go over by 100 calories, or you can go over by 1000. It's your choice. Do what you can to make it the right one:)

The time of day you eat doesn't affect weight loss. It's all about calories in vs calories out. Personally, I consume 70% of my calories after about 4 PM
