Either way. Try stevia extract if you crave sweetness. I use it in coffee and tea.

One calorie actually does equal 1 calorie. There's no doubt scientifically. The reason why many people fall for low sugar or low carb diets is because initially you will notice a reduction in weight and waist size due to the loss of water. Carb molecules bind 4 molecules of water etc. Cutting very ow on any essential…

It looks like your proteins are very low and carbs and fats way over. This may be a factor. Try to balance your macros a bit more...

If it fits into my macros, yes. But I rather just eat bread instead!

How many calories have you been eating in the last 3 weeks compared to the first week?

Have you tried cold tea with stevia extract? I drink 2 pots of cold tea home-brewed everyday because water doesn't go down so easily... Some people absolutely hate stevia as a sweetener because it has a distinct taste to it. I'm using it for 2 years now in place of sugar for all of my drinks (tea, coffee and smoothies)

I, too usually plan out my entire day ahead (evening before or morning) so I don't end up grabbing whatever I feel like. My rational mind stops working when I need food. I'm one of those people that get aggitated when hungry. Also, I try to keep enough calories for dinner and evening hours since that is when I usually…

I marinade tomatoes and red onions in my dressing prior. Usually I let it sit while I prepare the rest of the meal. It's simple and super tasty. 1tbsp olive oil 1/2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar or white wine vinegar Salt pepper and 1/4 teaspoon SUGAR Tomatos Red onions After 15 minutes or so you will see that that the…

My brother made something similar last summer. Loved the idea of replacing the mayo with Greek yoghurt. I was sooooo good. He didn't put agave though. Also he used a whole grilled rotisserie chicken (skin removed).

I love Thai chicken soup. It's my favorite dish at the Thai restaurant. Never tried to make it myself... What kind of coconut milk do you use? I know there are different kinds and some are extremely fatty.

I make tzatziki sauce and eat it wish anything that I would otherwise eat sour creme with. On top of potatoes, grilled meats etc... It's simple: Greek yoghurt, minced cucumbers, dill, garlic, salt and pepper. I love greek yoghurt in fruit smoothies, too! Fruit, stevia, Greek yoghurt and almond milk.

If your proteins/carbs/fats/sugars are alll at goal I think you should be fine. But usually there's not much room for super fatty or sugary foods. I wouldn't worry as long as you don't do this all the time.

What a mean crowd today. Wow unbelievable. I can't believe I actually read through all of these replies. I clicked on this topic to find out more about strength training...

I'm at 1200 - 1400 calories and plan everything around my proteins -targeting 110 grams. It's not always easy. But it shouldn't be so hard to get more than 90 for you given the fact you are taking in over 1800 calories. You will need to cut the carbs you really don't need that many carbs.

That's amazingly low... I'm jealous! I'm in Connecticut and spend for myself and my daughter around $400 a month. I could do much better though if I would look for sales items more or simply skip expensive things.

May 27 Me:0 TB: 1 I've gone several days eating controlled and exercising, I even did my workout first thing in the morning today, had all foods planned out early. I woke up feeling good about today to-come and not sure what happened then... Even though, I think I'm understanding what triggers this in me.

I love the idea! I like to cook certain things in batches (soups, spaghetti sauces etc) and freeze them in portions... And I always end up using up all of my containers! Very nice idea, thank you!

thanks much! Great info

Can't see your diary... But as suggested already, nuts, seeds, eggs. Regarding calorie burn I started using an HRM , I never trusted the online calculators, they always seemed to high. Also if you plan on eating back your exercise calories I recommend deducting another 60 calories per hour of workout - that's about how…

Just saw your height... 170-175

No need to be afraid. It was a coincidence that the bombers in Boston chose the marathon as their target ... if there wouldn't have been a marathon they would have chosen some other big event, a parade or so.

The saddest ones I find are Lean cuisine frozen dinners or hot dog with bun for an entire dinner meal.

"Cleansing" with dry onion soup mix and veggies? Soup mixes are filled with a ton of ingredients that definitely don't aid in cleansing. Your kidneys and liver cleanse your body - not foods that give you diarrhea and empty out constipated bowels.

Thank you! This recipe sounds really good, too. I will experiment with the almond flour paste (plus some peanut butter maybe) and make ONE mini bar first before waisting bags of nuts! I remember my mom used to make coconut cookies for x-mas, it consisted pretty much only of coconut flakes, egg white and sugar on top of a…

I am trying to find a good recipe for making a lo-carb protein/nut bar... I don't want to use honey or sugar, which is the key to getting everything stick together, but I want to avoid the high carb and sugar content. It should be either pure powered stevia or bake-able stevia. I am thinking of using pumpkin seeds, flax…

Chicken breast loses about 30% moisture when cooked. So, if you have 10z cooked chicken it was actually over 13oz before it was cooked. Veggies can be even more... figure how a handful of spinach can turn easily into a tablespoon after being cooked. If I have something already cooked and I don't know I usually just google…

It may be that you aren't eating enough during the day, that's how it is for me at least...

Over 100 pounds in 8 months!!! What exercises did you do and what kind of meal plan? Would love to see your diary :)
