Just been playing cat-ch up. These are my two boys, they don't really have proper names. They are called black cat and ginge.

I'm off to Glastonbury. I've not been since 2007, and my first one was in 2002 - that seems like such a long time ago!

Wow you really have tried everything, I hope you do find something that works for you.

Today I got a new pair of size 14 (UK) super skinny jeans and they fit perfectly! It's so nice my size 16's have got to the point where they really are too big. :)

If you want to succeed at losing weight you have to be honest with yourself about what you are eating in the first place. I log everything even on days when I've gone completely off track and eaten double my goal (like this last week!). It's the only way.

It is true that regular exercise does give you more energy. But I've always felt like that, and ended up having some blood tests for a different reason (I was always thirsty). Turns out I had an underactive thyroid and B12 deficiency. So as much as I hate the constant advice on here telling people they might have a thyroid…
-
I'm also hypothyroid and take 100mcg of thyroxine a day. I've lost 21lbs since January and I've had lots of days going over my daily allowance. I don't cut out any of the foods which are mentioned as being a problem for those with thyroid problems. Provided you are properly medicated there is no reason why you can't lose…

Poor you. :( I've cut down on dairy over the last couple of weeks and I'm using Dermalogica anti Bac face wash plus activ moist. Finally I seem to be clearing up but I've got quite a few scars from some really big cystic spots I just didn't leave alone. Thank god for make up! I use bareminerals so it's not too pore…

I had a shock absorber and it seemed to do the trick but now I'm 20lbs down I really need to buy a new one as it's no longer snug enough. The problem I have with most sports bras is how low cut they are. I would rather something higher up my chest because when I'm doing things like burpees I end up sort of spilling out of…

I've been a proper piggy the last 3 days while I've been away with work. But I've really enjoyed it!
-
I've got to get up at 5am tomorrow and I'm away with work for the next 3 days. I know there is no way I'm going to be sticking to my goal. But I figure it's only three days, how much damage can I possibly do?? :#

Yeah I just drizzled it with oil then added salt and pepper, in the over for about 20 mins. It was so much nicer than I expected!

Today I had broccoli oven roasted for the first time, I always just usually boil it. It was bloody gorgeous! And then I mixed tuna with avocado for my sandwiches tomorrow instead of mayo. Also bloody delicious. How have I not eaten these things in this way before!

I'm not sure trying to lose a specific percentage each week is realistic. I've lost 9.3% of my starting weight since January but that's 16 weeks. I only know this because I'm in a group at work all working together to lose weight and 10% is a first target for us all but with no timescale attached. You won't consistently…

ENTJ - commander! Ha ha, I expect my husband would agree.

My lunch this week is giant cous cous mixed with green olives, cherry tomatoes, sweetcorn, cucumber, mozzarella pearls and some balsamic oil/vinegar dressing. I've made a huge bowl which will last all week. Plus I take snacks like carrot, Apple and rich tea biscuits.

I put on some cropped jeans today to work in the garden. Last year I couldn't do them up, today when lugging about bags of gravel they were falling down! :)
-
My go to is always olives, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper and feta or mozzarella with either pesto or balsamic vinegar. It's great for pasta but I also make it with giant cous cous.

30lbs in under 6 months is an incredible achievement!

Losing weight that fast and eating that little is neither sustainable not healthy. If MFP gives you 1900 then aim to hit that and stop cutting out foods like bread and pasta unnecessarily. You can eat those foods and still lose weight you just need to fit them into your daily goal. Do it slowly and healthily, your body…

See my local council run pool does a monthly membership for about £35 and you can swim as much as you like for that. However I stopped going because the lane swimming sessions were so busy you couldn't really swim properly and continuously. It's a real shame!

I keep reading news stories about this and I just don't get how it's body shaming. I think the model looks great, and the brand is selling protein powder and supplements so I guess their advertising is aimed at those interested in fitness. In other words, nope don't get it.

I thought about this more last night and definitely don't think I could give it up completely. But I can definitively cut down, currently I have milk in my porridge, milk in many cups of tea throughout the day, snacks of mini babybel or cheese strings, Philadelphia on crackers at lunch! That's quite a lot of dairy, so I…

It's really interesting that you've said that, I keep wondering about the whole dairy and acne thing. I know there hasn't been any proof yet, but lots of anecdotes saying going dairy free helps. The problems is I love milk, yoghurt and cheese! I might try cutting back on dairy and having the lactose free milk before I go…

I don't think I ever leave enough food for it to be enough to take! But them I'm in the UK and our portions generally aren't as big. Anyway, as much as I hate food waste could you box part of the meal and just leave it behind or give it to someone else? But definitely don't avoid eating out. Just learn to make better…

Badly dubbed tv adverts. Scripted 'reality' tv e.g. made in Chelsea. Actually all reality tv. Men in skinny jeans, especially if that's paired with smart shoes and no socks. Festival 'fashion' articles. L

Is going from 14 stone to 8 stone realistic? But regardless of that, that sort of weight loss could take a couple of years. You didn't put all that weight on overnight so you can't expect it to come off that way.

Love Bill Hicks! :) OP I am losing weight on 1500-1600 a day (my goal is 1500 but I often go over!). I've lost 21lbs since January. So it is doable but that depends on your height and weight to start with. Plus you do need to be as accurate as possible in your logging and that means using a food scale wherever possible.…
