Drink a bottle of water when you have cravings- then you won't have enough room in your stomach for anything else!

I guess I need to add. I am happily married and not looking to be picked up. So if you're a dude who is looking to secretly message me, please don't. I have no problem hitting the 'decline' button. I don't mess around with that crap!!

Who all has lost weight?

Cardio 50-55min 4x week (treadmill, elliptical, bike, stair stepper. I do not stay on the same machine; I have no cardio routine), weights/machines 25 min 4x week. I sleep 8 hours a night (really important if you want to lose or maintain weight), and I drink half my body weight of water every day.

'I've been struggling with my weight since I was a kid'- there's your motivation. Either you want it and will do anything to get it or you will continue telling yourself the same lies you've been listening to yourself say for 25 years. Keep off the scale. It's too unpredictable. My goals are my own. I don't go to the gym…

If you have the time, P90X yoga is the shiz.

Good advice, Pz. I also cheat once a week. I have to use portion control, though ... too much fat, sodium, carbs, sugar, etc, in a meal will make me lethargic the next day, no matter how much water I drink.

Vanilla whey protein with half of a banana (medium-high ripeness) and two tablespoons of creamy/chunky peanut butter... deeeelicious!!!!

Adequate sleep has helped me maintain my weight. Not 6 hours of sleep. I need 8 hours. I also eat small meals throughout the day, and I think that helps, too.

Thanks for the explanation. I enjoy reading articles like this. People get the facts, not just the numbers on the scale.

Cardio X (from p90x). Love it. Has a good variety of stuff- yoga, plyometrics, core training, and KenpoX (karate moves). Makes me sweat and it seems like it's not 43 minutes.

Quiche- Cheap, easy, healthy and delicious. You can add anything to the "base" of the quiche. For the base, I use about 1/2-1 C skim milk and a dozen eggs. Beat (not whisk). Crust (generic Pillsbury pie crust) or crustless. Put into a glass pie container or muffin pans. Quiche is delish for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

You can do crust or crustless, too.

QUICHE!!! It's cheap and easy. You can put anything in it. It's healthy. You can eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. (Which I have, in the same day). It's delicious! You can make it the night before, and it keeps all week in the fridge. Base quiche: 7 large eggs and 1/4 C whatever milk you want... I use skim. I also use…
