If your activity varies, or you're just unsure of how active you really are, might I suggest a fitbit (or another activity tracker)? It takes a lot of the guesswork out of the equation.

Depending on how many steps you did, it very well could be accurate... When I had a more active job, it would add an extra 600 calories to my day. Before I had fitbit, I wondered why I was constantly starving at work and had trouble sticking to my calorie goal. When I saw how active I was at work, I saw it made sense...

Agreed. Although you've since taken your pictures down, 112 is thin on most everyone-- you definitely don't need to lose another stone. I bet what's going on is more of a perception issue. Please talk to someone you trust and take care of yourself.

Did they get moo-ved? Haha... sorry-- couldn't resist. No, I haven't noticed anything like that.

@MoiAuss excellent post. I drink tea because I hate the taste of plain water and I don't want to extra calories of other hot drinks (namely, hot chocolate). Teavana teas, I noticed, have added sugar in them... I don't like my tea sweetened and I think it's kind of underhanded for them to do that and not advertise it as…

Sounds like a reasonable doctor. People need to relax... This is just a common sense "if you don't feel well eating it, don't eat it" kind of issue.
-
Not sure if I could help as I have my own food issues, but good luck in your journey! Hope you stay healthy and happy!

People have to remember that, when trying to persuade, "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar." (Flies can't say no to sugar either LOL)

I haven't use either of the DVDs as a "program" so to speak-- I just use them to sneak in a good work out at home a few times a week. That said, I'm partial to the 30DS. I'm fairly in shape but still cannot do some of the more awkward positions of ripped in 30 (hate side planks... hurts my shoulder/wrist). The 30DS also…

Are you counting the creamer calories in your coffee? Otherwise, how long have you been dieting? Perhaps, switch the maintenance for a week or two and then try again. I don't have any research to back that up, but it can't hurt to give yourself and your body a little break.

Yogurt, apples, almond butter, baby carrots, eggs, steel cut oats.

At best, he's an idiot. At worse, an a**. Cheers to him being an ex!

That's why I have a fitbit. It tracks my steps and stairs and adds to my caloric expenditures accordingly. Some people don't like to count these extra calories, but for me, it makes a pretty big difference in how much I can eat. When I didn't have a fitbit, I found it extremely hard to stay on track and keep within my…

If you're not willing to change your diet, perhaps you could try to add some exercise to give you a bigger deficit?
-
You're making this overly complicated, OP. Start with the most likely explanation--that you are overestimating your intake-- and go from there. I get that you've been through a lot and that will influence your decision-making process. But honestly,to not do this will only prolong your suffering. The best medical specialist…

When I have a chocolate/sweet craving, I eat a cliff protein bar. They are pretty sugary, sadly... sometimes I only eat half...but the reason they are a go-to is that the 10-20 g protein will keep me going til the next meal. Otherwise, I will eat half a Green and Black mini dark chocolate bar. Only about 140 cal and a…

I usually wake up starving... I also go for runs first thing in the morning, so if I do not eat a substantial breakfast, I get so hangry and tired. Anyway, I normally eat 300-450 cal for breakfast.

I sometimes make my sandwiches open faced with cream cheese instead of mayo. Fewer calories, still yummy. And BTW your tastes will probably change the longer you do this. I started in 2013, and while I was not always logging everything I ate, it was in my head to choose healthier options. In the past year, I've acquired a…

Sorry. It sounds like she has some insecurities she'll need to work on. In the meantime, there have been plenty of compromises suggested. But I agree it can be hard training with running partner. Surprisingly, for a while my husband, who ran cross country in college, wanted to go on my runs. Clearly I was the slow runner.…

Thats ok if moderation isn't your thing. It won't be easy to not eat those foods because of your living situation but the cravings do diminish the less junk you eat.
-
I like this... even if someone is more comfortable with weekly weighing than daily.
-
Weight loss just requires a deficit. It will be difficult creating one with only those foods (in my humble opinion--I'd be starving all the time!). However, maybe you're having trouble because your body is used to running 40 minutes every day, and thus, you're no longer burning as many calories as you think Maybe try…

After working a string of night shifts (4-5 hours of sleep vs my usual 7-8), I do notice the scale goes up slightly. I do not know why, but I usually see it go back down to normal after a good night's rest. Whatever my anecdotal account may be, though, I think the most logical responses have already been said-- short term…

Wow! I could definitely notice a change from the middle and last pics. More toned, especially in the booty area. Congrats!

Yay *clapping* Fantastic job!

Even though I don't really have anything to add about clean eating... Sorry that people here are so rude sometimes. Don't let them discourage you. We're not all like that.
-
I agree with the other posters that are concerned with what the supplements contain. Liver is supposed to cleanse you. You don't have to cleanse it.

I think exercise makes a big difference in appetite. I struggle with this too, although my goal is 1350. I ran the other day, and afterwards, I could have chewed off my arm. Tea is a life saver. Warm, flavored, healthy, guilt free.

Yay! Congrats! You look very happy-- as you should be!

Congrats! You look smokin'!
