Unless my eyes are reading it wrong, your triglycerides are high and HDL is slightly too low. I don't see anything else that's really alarming. But it looks like you were normal in 2011. I don't think it's the Accutane anymore. Unfortunately, it may be genetics screwing up your numbers now, especially if these sort of…

I think I first tried chobani. Let's just say I wasn't in a rush to try greek yogurt again... Yuck. But I really liked stonyfield yogurt, so I decided to give their greek yogurt (Oikos, I believe) a try. Not bad! Still tart-- just like any plain yogurt-- so I add a little honey to it. But believe it or not, I will be…

Now you're just making excuses... Steam your veggies and add seasoning. Eat pizza once in a while in moderation.

I fell off the wagon over this week. Stressful nights at work, no sleep, and being PMS= binged. :( I don't know about you, but I felt like crap eating all that crap. (You are what you eat!) Use that as motivation. Weight loss aside, you should be able to feel good with the foods you eat. Also, stepping on the scale and…

Sorry for your losses. You are truly an inspiration-- you look AMAZING!

Sorry you're feeling under the weather. I think the gloominess of early spring can do that, too, along with everything else everyone already mentioned. I second the snazzy new workout outfit. :) Maybe do some fun exercises with friends? Like racquetball or tennis? Also, I like the post above me. A little chocolate sounds…

1) Eggs 2) Oatmeal 3) Turkey slices 4) olive oil for cooking/baking the veggies 5) skinny cow ice cream :)

Work kills my diet in a slightly different way. I work 12 hr nightshifts, 3 in a row. I can't really eat during my shift-- it makes my stomach upset-- so basically I go 12 hours w/o eating and come home famished. When I do come home, I'm a zombie and do not make the best food decisions. Hell, sometimes I think I sleep eat…

Granted I don't have kids yet, but if I did, and I'd be pretty thrilled if they actually had a preference for healthy treats instead of junk. I'd encourage it instead of discourage. That said, there is no healthy without moderation (plus, you said it was expensive, right?). I'd wouldn't feel bad about limiting the treat to…

Awesome! Best of luck! (PS if you find yourself going back to old habits, remember it takes someone an average of trying seven times before quitting for good. Everything is a learning experience-- try, try again!)

My triggers are sweets and greasy foods. Honestly, I've had really, really bad acne. I have the scarring to prove it. I know you want to do it the natural way... I respect that... but what really works for me now is BC and a sulfur-based face wash. I suppose it all depends on why you're breaking out. For some, it can be…

You're a student. Imagine that you're not doing so well in a class. You go to a professor/teaching assistant asking for advice. S/he asks you how much you're currently studying. You say you have no idea. You think you're studying "just the right amount" doing "all the right things" but, really, you don't keep track and…

I'm 25 and I've started to get gray hairs. *sigh* I'm a little more OCD about the sun now (when I get any shade of tan, my skin looks blotchy now). Otherwise, no change in body *knock on wood*.

Great job! amazing change in just two weeks!

10 lb water-weight gain is impressive... If you were old with heart failure, you'd be in the hospital with your lungs drowning. I have to wonder if there weren't some other factors. Maybe the 120 lbs wasn't entirely accurate? Clothes different? Weighed at different times of days? Anywho, although that day sounds absolutely…

Wow, you look amazing! I'm on D3L2. Hope I have your results! (Too bad I love food as much as I do :)

^^^ This. (although I'm nearly the same stats as you and want to lose a few pounds... mainly to expose muscle though) On your profile, you say you want to lose 30 lbs? you want to be under 100 lbs? Very concerning. Also, what the poster said about hormones is true. You don't want to end up on BC just to have a normal…

Good job-- keep it up!

Yes, I would be concerned about losing muscle. Plus, eating that low cannot help you feel any better. It will just make you feel worse. Try high calorie foods like full-fat milk, peanut butter, ensure shakes, nuts and dried fruit, etc. You won't have to eat a lot of it to bump up your intake. Forgot the most important…

Stay away from the booze and women. Haha... Sorry, I have no real advice. The buffets there are too good...

Wow! What a change! Keep it up!

Love swimming! When I was in school, swimming regularly kept me lean. Now I mostly run due to the fact it's a quicker workout and easier to fit into your day. However, I do fit swimming 1-2x/week. Although I don't quite get my heart rate as high swimming as during a run, I always feel a good burn in my shoulders, arms, and…

Congrats! Do something special for yourself today-- you deserve it!

Too many acronyms. :-/ What is IIFYM?

Awesome! Keep up the good work!

Why would quitting diet soda make you lose weight? The only thing I've heard is it can trigger people to eat more, but if you're already watching and tracking what you eat, I don't understand why it would make a difference. Diet soda is my guilty pleasure. Would love to kick the habit d/t all the chemicals, but I hattteee…

Still don't really care for it, but I use it in place of mayo for sandwiches... Also as a veggie dip. Healthier than the alternative!

Second this! Tea works well for my psychological satiety. I also read on another post that try mixing hot water, cocoa powder, and sweetener for no guilt hot chocolate. I haven't tried it yet though. When I was a student, I also liked rice cakes! PS I used to go to school and work night shifts. Snacking during studying was…

I agree with the following things: 1) For most of the population, BMI can be applied. This really isn't about looks, but about health indicators as mentioned before. 2) There are true exceptions; however, some people falsely think they are the exception. Just saying you're an athlete doesn't cut it... There are overweight…
