I'm very sorry for your loss. I've often wondered about how people can enable their loved ones to get to this point. As others have mentioned, you need to make a lifestyle change and that can be seriously daunting. I continuously find myself going back to a thread on here called, "Just for today". It's easy to wake up and…

I look forward to evening walks with my husband now, instead of trying to find excuses. This is because I can actually walk beside him now and keep pace, instead of walking 1/2 block behind him completely out of breath. I can start to see the rounded curves of a shapely tush, where there once was a gelatinous mass of…

Only made it through 1/2 of NMTZ this morning. Partly because I was up late, so slept in a bit and partly because I'm still sore from Sunday. I'll do the 2nd half on Thursday, and see if I can get through the whole thing again on Sunday.

You are simply radiant! Such an inspiration! Thanks for posting!

I just finished last week. I lost 12 pounds total. I did the workout Mon-Fri mornings before work, so I did 2 work weeks of each level (6 weeks to complete)I didn't change my eating habits until about level 2, but wasn't crazy strict with food. I ended up losing inches all over (even noticed my fingers got smaller!). The…

-1-2 peanut butter and honey sandwiches as a bedtime snack -1/2 sleeve of crackers with cheese or peanut butter I always knew it was bad: but I would sit at home with a bag of frosting and a spoon and eat probably 1/2 a cup or more in one sitting, then do it again the next day.

No More Trouble Zones yesterday morning = pain this morning. Holy cow I'm sore, and used 5lb weights for most of it. Moved up to 8's for some. Back of thighs and triceps are feeling it the most. The original plan was to mix this with cardio, but with the soreness I'm feeling today, I'll likely just go for a long walk…

Burn Fat Boost Metabolism is 40 mins of pure cardio. You could try her kick boxing one too. Haven't tried it, but it looks good.

Started No More Trouble Zones this morning. Going to do 3x a week and 2 days cardio.

Yes. I thanked you personally for the kind offer. Thanks for the encouragement too. :)

You look great! I love how radiant your skin looks now!

Thanks for the um kind offer, but too bum will remain a mystery for the time being. To everyone else, thanks for the encouragement!

Heavy metal is so motivational to work out to as well. Some people need a goal to reach to, and yours just happens to be a kick *kitten* one. Sorry you are getting some negative responses on here, but I say f*** 'em all! Keep working and make your way to Graspop. I've always wanted to go as well. Made it to Wacken in 2008,…

I'm in total agreement. Just like an extreme diet, I think weighing everything is something that is not sustainable for me. I may get a lot of flack for this, but what's worked for me so far: 1- Take my 'normal' portion, cut it in half. When finished, I'll drink a glass of water and wait a few minutes, if i'm still hungry,…

Take photos. You don't have to share here, but just for yourself. The mirror can be deceiving. The first thing I noticed was that my wedding ring got loose. I was losing weight from my fingers!!! What the hell? Once all the fat stores are gone from your fingers, toes, elbows and all those other weird places, it will come…

Cute!!! My husband gave me a NSV this morning too. He grabbed me by my front belt loops to pull me in closer to him, looked down and said, "wow, there's so much extra room in there now!" It totally made my day!

Great work! Glad you had awesome results too!

Fantastic! Now you definitely deserve that back massage! Keep it up!

My husband detests plain rice, but I've made some brown rice mixes that he will eat: 1-black beans with canned tomatoes, sprinkled with feta 2- salsa & guacamole 3-cream of broccoli soup 4- scrambled eggs & frozen veggies (made like fried rice)

Last day of level 3 tomorrow! I can't believe I made it!!! Scale was down (minimally, but still) this morning. Final results to be posted tomorrow. Keep going. If I can make it through, all of you can too!

I stopped 'sampling' while cooking. The worst was when I'd be making a sandwich for my husband's lunch, I'd always cut a slice of cheese for him, one for me... 3 cookies for him, one for me. I wasn't even hungry, it was just out of habit. So many unnecessary calories.

My favorite super quick crockpot recipe I share all over the place because it's so damn good. Line bottom of crockpot with apple slices (I use Granny Smith) Top with turkey breasts Add another layer of apple slices Add 1 can cranberry sauce Cook on low 8 hours, serve with potatoes and/ or steamed veggies = turkey dinner…
