You're completely right, I gain muscle while eating at a deficit. But she said she's been using 3 lb weights for 15 minutes.. And I don't think that's gonna cause gains

she needs to raise her calories, but its so that your metabolism doesn't get "used" to the amount of calories you take in every day:p

look into intermittent fasting, it helps a lot of people, and is completely safe, IF you do if properly.

^^^ to the guy who said he lost weight eating pure junk, yes. if you're at a calorie deficit then of course you can lose weight. But WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO PUT ALL OF THAT BAD STUFF IN YOUR BODY?! I understand every once in a while, but every day?!?! It just doesnt make sense to me. but thats my opinion.

LOL I'm sorry, but that guy needs to learn his place. i understand where he's coming from about the carb timing, but clean eating has many benefits, and the lowered sodium intake WILL help you shed that water weight! If you eat 1600 calories a day of BAD, junky food, you will more than likely gain or not lose any weight.…

have you allowed yourself any cheat days? have you given your body different routines? sometimes, if you eat the same things over and over again, and do the same workouts, your body adapts to them, and is no longer changing. Do you weigh yourself at the same time every week? don't forget, a persons weight can fluctuate 1-5…

tbh, I'm having the EXCACT same proplem as you! it suuuucks!:( last july, i went from 174 to 165. Then, by january i was at 156, the lowest id EVER been! i was SOOOO proud of myself! (I'm 5'7 too) Unfortunately, i gained it back. I went up to 169 in april, but now I'm at 166. I think its because i was trying to lose weight…
