/\ /\ what Keatra said Your muscles will take on water in the rebuilding process (about 36 hrs after tear-down) and the scales will momentarily bounce up. But please don't get discouraged - more muscle, more metabolism (who coudn't use a bigger burn?) and you'll ultimately gain a more lean and sculpted appearance! I did a…

I don't think it is that cut and dry. What foods did you eat? How dense were the carbs? I ran yesterday for extra calories but in the end didn't eat them and was down 1.4 today from yesterday.

Thanks all for the insight. We arrived late last night. Can't wait to get out and see the city and try some of the food. We eat anything - albeit in moderation.

First one. You look long and lean. I think the Navy would be too hard to get shoes for.

I burn 1100. My studio is 105+ degrees / 40% humidity. That gets my heart pumping. For me it is the same as a 10 mile run but much easier on the knees :)

From or production perspective it is awesome. My husband loves it but for me it is a bit too raw.

You CAN do it! i took a cruise a year ago ... although I did it backwards and didn't drop the weight until after the cruise. My husband and I were just looking at the pictures to see how far we have come. Good luck to you :)

Wow - thanks for that! I was thinking more about the fitness side of things but can see how your advice will come in handy. I will let you know how it goes.

Maybe since you started eating this way you feel better and look more radiant and therefore are getting more compliments causing you to blush? Just saying :)

Bump. Will be back tomorrow.

I guarantee you can get a special meal. They absolutely set some food aside for this kind of thing. When you arrive go right for the function manager with your table number and request. I can't tell if you pay your way (or if work does) but as long as you boss/client will not frown and it will not put your job at risk I…

Have you ever tried asking for a gluten free meal. While I am not GF I eat that way 80% of the time (my daughter is celiac). Give it a try. You can say you have gluten intolerance.

It can be so tricky. My husband does this more than I do (I tend to eat at restaurants). He eats the center of the sandwich, leaving the bread. He takes extra salad. He eats fruit and cheese when it is available. He only drinks water (sparkling or still) with lemon instead of soda. Finally, he keeps 1oz bags of nuts in his…

Where (what store) do you find them?

I just ate them for dinner. Delish! Had them with chicken, red sauce and cheese.

My MFP friend did a tri yesterday too - I will tag her so she see this. Maybe she will know.
-
I'm sick too ... I had two eggs poached on low carb toast. Sipping green tea now. Feel better soon :)

People do it to bring the topic to the top of the list for more replies OR to save it for later as it will now appear in their "my topics list" Edit for spelling - iPad auto correct ;)

Is it the one on why dieters fail? That is a good one.

Link didn't work for me.

Fantastic job!

My daughter is celiac and strictly GF therefore my family is mostly GF by default. There have been lots of good GF discussions on this site before. Try to search for some.
