I use paper plates because I sometimes weigh a few things for a meal and do ot want cross contamination. Paper plates for me are easier than washing 3 or more extra plates with each meal. B

I am -65 in 9 months.

Me too! For me it is: 80% food 10% fitness 10% genetics. Hi back at you from Boston, MA. :)

I'm down 65 in 9 months by eating smart. I don't think of myself as on a diet. I cut out processed & starchy foods leaving lean meats, healthy fats, and natural carbs found in veggies (theoretically Atkins)... I need to get ready for work now... I'll be back later.

Try a store with more selection. I have been a dancer my whole life so even when I was thin this was an issue for me. At Macy's I bought a black dressy pair that has leather in the front, neoprene fabric in the back and zips up the side. I also have a pair of fry and a pair of uggs - those just slip on.

I eat natural carbs, lean protein, good fats and I stay at 1200 net. When I look at my intake in a pie chart format fat is the biggest slice :0 and yet I have lost 60 :)

Hard to follow city_bumkin ... I am not a teacher ... But I have practiced and seen the results. My 2cents is you have to be hydrated before the class, like 24-36 hours. I do bikram and hot vinyassa flow. Love them both. Edited for spelling, darn iPad.

Like the discussion on "paleo" as a marketing term so is "clean" as is was coined by Oxygen magazines founder Robert Kennedy who is also the husband of Tosca Reno. Tosca's before and after picures are wonderful but most of us will not have the cosmetic surgery she had so results may vary. Bottom line, you have to find by…

Thank you for sharing. I am so glad to hear this. It confirms what I am experiencing. I am week 34 and -62 as of today. Only recently did I realize by looking at MFP on my iPhone that there is a pie chart of how I consume my calories. Week after week I average 10-20% carbs 20-30% protein 50-60% fat. I feel great and a…

I am a fantasy sports widow (husband is at a football draft tonight as a matter of fact) but he does know his stuff and has an excellent winning record, so to that end he offered the following reply for you: Wow, nice roster of excellent young players. Guessing you want a balance of offense and pitching here. Santana is…

Hi all - I am happy to find this group! I will go back and read previous posts but first I wanted to introduce myself. This morning as I enjoyed my coffee with my husband we tried fo find things in our house that equal our combined weightloss of just over 100lbs. We began our weightloss journey last winter because we felt…

My husband has this problem - I keep a basket of food stocked in his car. Mostly single serve bags that I have made of plan nuts for when he is hungry and trail mixes for when he craves something sweet. Also there are a few protein bars and some water bottles. It has helped a lot so he no longer enter the house ravenous.…

The tutors I use for my kids are teachers in a neighboring school district I pay one 50/hr for reading and the other I pay 30/half hour for math. I also pay 40/half hour for music. I think where you are located plays a roll in the equasion. Ask around to see what others charge. You might be able to charge more than you are…
