Hi there, I also have a question along the same lines - do I have to lose weight before starting to lift heavy? I've been doing a similar circuit with resistance type programme but want to get skinny strong eventually. Should I continue what I'm doing until I'm at my goal weight? Thanks for the advice! Hx

Thanks really helpful! I definitely didn't realise about eating back the cals your burn with the mfp, maybe if i'd known that I wouldn't have had so many issues, now I know about TDEE though I think I'm going to give it a try. X

This is also true for me.. all the skinny girls are now unattractive women... KARMA baby. just keep doing what you're doing and know you're doing a fantastic job. It take balls to go out and exercise, don't let ignorant idiots stop you. x

Wow, I can't believe how low some of everyone's goals are.. I'm 5'9 and my goal is 160. I really can't imagine begin as low as 130 something. I guess everyone is different. What's everyone's else's calorie intake? I've been set 1200 but then in other forums people are saying this is quite low!? I'm new on here so still…
