Extremely accurate for me. Have had no problems. Heck, if I weigh before and after morning pee I…

^ I like this. Because if you take control now of your health and weight then the 5x30 min/wk now wont turn into hours or days or weeks away from the kids if you develop major health issues, etc. And as a mom of 3 myself (4mth, 2yr and 3.5yr) I can say that I need a half hour to 45 mins for myself everyday to be the best…

^ My point exactly. Go you, but please be careful

After a c-section the guidelines of exercise are different than a vaginal birth. A cesarean section is MAJOR ABDOMINAL SURGERY. No different than the restrictions to take it easy after appendix removal or open heart surgery. It's just as major surgery.
-
I've had 3 c-sections so I miust warn you to PLEASE fake it easy. The first 6wks you're not supposed to exercise and it is advised to wait up to 6 month for any vigorous exercises, especially lifting and abdominal stuff. You can pull apart your internal stitches, cause a hernia, even rip the healing incision and have…

Unless you have given birth and breastfed I would just let it be. Obviously she's asking for other moms who've been in this situation for their advice.

Oatmeal. Quick, healthy and great for milk supply if you're nursing. I have a 2.5 mth old, 2yr old and 3.5yr old. It's tough as my husband works 11hr/day and all cooking, cleaning, bathing, etc is on me. Plus I'm a full time student Online. But as suggested above try preparing the night before or cooking in bulk for a few…

The whole reason we have "rest" days is to give your muscles a break. They say for example to work different parts of the body each day and give a "break" between days on muscles. So Monday could be a leg/butt day, Tuesday an arm/ab day, Wednesday run, Thursday leg/butt, so on and so forth. The point is to not over work…

That was beautiful. Thank you for posting.

I have a 3.5yr old and 2yr old sons and a 9wk old baby girl. I'm also a full time student. I am up at 7a and in bed after 11 most nights, not to mention I co-sleep with the baby who is an on demand exclusively breastfed infant. So I'm up and down at night. Although I am a stay at home mom my days are no less filled. My…

I like Quest Protein bars for snacks. They have 20g protein and only 1g sugar. Most snack bars are high in sugar. Anyway, welcome!

Woo! Day 1 is the first step! I am actually on Week 2 Day 2 today. :) Good luck!
-
The unsweetened I prefer over the vanilla. I didn't want the added sugar. But the banana gives just enough sweetness for me. And the almond mil of course makes the oats almost "creamy" vs with water. :) Let me know what you think!
-
Something I've been enjoying lately is quick oats cooked with unsweetened almond milk and mix in a mashed banana. It's sugar free (minus the natural sugar in the banana, and is really yummy.

No problems supply wise. But as I said above I caught pharyngitis around 6wk pp and haven't been able to recover since on eating high caloric intakes.
-
Hubby broke my blender. New one coming in Monday :)
-
Honestly since giving birth 9wk ago I've lost 30lb. I was eating pretty much anything and everything. Then I caught pharyngitis at 6wk pp and hardly ate for 5 days. Haven't been able to recover since and only lost 1-3lb

We have lots of Pb. I'll get to eating thanks!
-
Taking notes keep going!

So following calories I need to pay attention to fats too don't I? What stats really should one want to track?
-
Nuts are extremely difficult with a nut allergy. Most nuts that I cam eat are processed in plants with others causing a serious issue. :(
-
Ice cream? Really? :) any particular?
-
Calories 1800 fat 60 Carbs 248 Protein 68 I don't bother messing with mine. I'm breastfeeding on demand so I'm supposed to be eating high calories. Plus I exercise. As much as I try though I generally end up under my calories.

Go for it! As said above if you can't run it then walk. Do what you can and just finish it :) you can do it.
-
Printing and putting up on my motivation wall. :)

My thoughts are "If you can't pronounce it, you probably shouldn't put it in your mouth!" I should follow this more often. :P
-
"Your legs aren't giving out. Your head is giving up. KEEP GOING!" I think about this when I feel like I want to stop. You got it! Just put one foot in front of the other and "Gitter Done!" Lol
-
Thanks! I won't!

Done. :)

Thanks everyone! This was my 10th (or something) time trying to quit. I quit both of my first pregnancies and went back the first time almost immediately and the second time after 2m pp. This time, baby is just over 2m and I have ABSOLUTELY NO desire to smoke. My neighbors smoke and it stinks!! As far as the C25K, yes, I…
