  • I find that once I make it past the first 15-20 minutes I start enjoying it. But even still, the first bit seems torturous. I find myself running for close to an hour at a time as long as I can stick it through! Good Luck.
  • Double post, I guess I got click happy!
  • I am AD. This week I have done just the 1.5 miles because they were both to get an idea of where I was after 2 weeks of leave! I am planning to run longer though and just do a mock test once a week.
  • Not sure why they went with 1.5 Last year I did it in 14:21, but I was running 3-6miles everyday. I have not been running near as much this year and my time has suffered because of it. My last hardcore practice test a few weeks ago I got 15:42. My goal is to be under 14:54. I am running everyday now to shave the time off…
  • The run is the main thing I need to work on too. Ours is a 1.5mile test. I need to do it in 14:54 or less to be the same as last year, under 15:48 will be passing though.
  • I would love to join this group. My current weight is 205.75 and I would like to be 190 by my B-day Sep 2.
  • If you are breastfeeding you need to make sure and give yourself 500 extra calories on top of what the site says. I always would go in and enter it as exercise each day so you can calculate it easier. Congrats and good luck!
  • Me too me too!!! Things have been crazy busy at work studying for a mandatory certification! I have been pigging out while studying and neglecting my running. I was disgusted this morning when I stepped on the scale. So time to get back on track!! We can do this!!!
  • I think if you are clearly taking up more than just your seat then it is fair. As much as it may suck for those that get stuck paying extra, how would you feel if you were sitting beside them and you didn't get the your whole chair. I don't think that there should be a certian weight or anything like that, but if you…
  • I do this for my daughter who is allergic and she loves them!! We use strawberry and diet sprite. They work better as cupcakes then a cake though.
  • I like it, it gives me an energy boost and does help some with the snack attacks. I did like it ALOT when it had Hoodia in it, but I have noticed that they have changed the formula. Doesn't curb the snack attack quite the same now.
  • This sounds cool. I will definitely check it out tonight!
  • I love the Baked Tostitos, I don't even enjoy regular ones anymore because the baked ones have grown on me so much!
  • I'm back. My dad was in town last week and I was super busy unpacking and remodeling. We tore my breakfast bar out and redid all the floors. It looks so nice now! Unforetunatly the fact that the kitchen was torn out added to the fact that we were going nonstop, did not play in so nicely with eating healthy. I am at…
  • I did 100 crunches last night. Also ran a 5k on the treadmill and did 35 minutes on the elliptical. I was going to do a base 5k today.... but it is WAY to cold to run outside, so I will have to be ambitious later tonight.
  • Well, I have picked my next half marathon. I will be doing the Run America Run in Coeur d'Alene on July 12th! I am running it with my brother and sister so that should be fun. I am extra motivated to improve my last time since my Brother in Law is being a big jerk about the whole thing... can't let him beat me!
  • It was actually nice enough to make it outside for a run this morning. I ran/walked 3.4 miles, burned 638 calories! I really love this new HRM. It is so motivating to see what I am burning. LW- 205.25 CW- 205 GW (end of march)- 195
  • Eat really good until then. Eat healthy the rest of the day and try and go workout too. Then just enjoy yourself at dinner. Don't go crazy, everything within moderation... but enjoy yourself. It is your birthday, and it is one meal. It isn't going to derail your efforts if you splurge this one time. Just get back on track…
  • Well, I am back from my trip, and I actually managed to lose weight while I was gone!! My new weight is 205.25 (-1.25 this week) I am guessing the 5+ hours of walking we did Friday probably helped me with that!! New goals: CW- 205.25 GW (end of March) - 195
  • I took on Jack in the Box today and won. Since I live in Podunk MO we have no Jack in the Box anywhere close and I LOVE Jack in the Box. There is one here in Phoenix... I had bought some frozen dinners to stock my hotel fridge, and the maid turned off my freezer and ruined them all!! So, I found myself in the Jack in…
  • Well, I actually made it to the hotel gym to run tonight. I only ran for 23 minutes because the evil treadmill kept shocking me everytime I touched it. Couldn't even change the speed without getting shocked. Stayed at 5mph most of the time 4.5 for a little bit. Burned 330 cal according to my F6 though so I am not…
  • I have the F6 as well. I love it so far. I got mine for $79 with a 20% off coupon from AAFES (military online store...)
  • I was travelling today, which actually made walking easy! I was walking all over the airport. And I even skipped the moving walkway and walked the whole way by myself! Not sure how much I will be on this week since I am away from home, but I will check in when I can. Have a great week everyone.
  • Hopefully I will be able to get some good walking in while in Phoenix. I am so glad that my HRM came in the mail before my trip. That will make it so much easier to track everything on the trip. Have a great weekend everyone!
  • Thanks. I am definitely still going to try and lose weight because I am HIGHLY motivated to win that Wii!! I am going to Phoenix for a week.
  • Ultimately I would love to say that my goal for next week would be to lose, but given my trip and everything I am hoping to maintain. So my goal will be 206.5 (would love 205, but probably not realistic!)
  • Well, I am plesently surprised with my weigh in today. 206.5, not to shabby considering what I did to myself last weekend! Hope everyone has a great day. I am hoping for a good week next week but I am going on a business trip to a conference with breakfast/lunch/snacks catered. I got a room with a full kitchen and the…
