I have a little over 130 lbs. to lose. I researched gyms and health clubs knowing that just doing the research doesn't get me any closer to my goal. After 2 months of procrastinating, I joined a health club. I'm lucky, due to my age, it's covered by medicare so my cost is only what I invest in myself. I am determined to do…

I am the prodigal daughter of the MFP family. Thanks to the support here I'm learning to put one foot in front of the other. I wish you well. You can do this, success is within reach.

I'm in. Late night snacking requires no thought at all and it's the easiest thing I know how to do. Time to take back the night.

Week 4 Monday Weigh-In Team Trimstones PW:268 CW: 272 - UGH! I am extremely hesitant to comment on posts only because I'm really struggling and have been for what seems like an eternity. Am I lethargic because I'm obese or am I obese because I'm lethargic? Six in one hand and 1/2 dozen in the other - don't you think?

The Fitbit issue with not syncing has been happening since Monday. I checked for an update and the message is the same every day; they're working on it.

I have been a MFP member on and off since 2010 and one day I'll get this right. I'm one of the wallflowers and because I've got 120 lbs. to lose, I tend to stay in the shadows. I've been a yo-yo dieter all my life and patience is not my strong suite. I need to trust the process and not be so quick to throw in the towel. My…

I'm always amazed and impressed by those who record steps in the thousands. How is that accomplished, how far does one walk? How long does it take to build to 5000 steps or greater?

I have started over more times than I care to admit. I can give you a few of my reasons - this is too hard, I had a binge and am too embarrassed to list everything I ate, I only lost 1/2 lb., I wonder what those who know me will think of my failure..... I know in order to succeed I have to stop repeating what I've done in…

I have the Fitbit 2 hr because I'm on medication to slow my heart rate. The one thing I don't like is if you don't wear it tight enough and it shifts on your wrist, it often times will count the movement as steps. I hope mine lasts, I have a variety of bands and unfortunately the Fitbit2 is no longer made. The bands for…

I'll join. I like the different levels and 3 is reasonable. The flexability of weighing in as you like is a big plus. I'l be posting weight beginning on the 1st. :)

Not very often. If I do, it's caffiene free, sugar free, and salt free. I prefer flavored water, Crystal Light has a great variety of flavors. Diet soda makes me want to snack - alot.
