Hey there, time to change your screen name. Get rid of the "icky" in front of your name. You're gorgeous.

Wow. You can TOTALLY see the difference in your face pictures. You look amazing, healthy, happy, and much thinner. You are truly astonishing and should be so proud of yourself. Congratulations.

Hey, it's the small things in life to acknowledge. Congrats.

Amazing what 21 pounds can do. Great work.

You look about 15 years (at least) younger.

Gorgeous.

I took my son there yesterday for a happy meal but had the ability to look online before i went for calories. I had the bacon ranch salad (with grilled chicken) and light balsamic dressing. Salad = 260 and dressing = 40, so total 300. I just watched an episode of Oprah at the meat processing plant, so I couldn't eat a…

You were very pretty, even with weight on. But now you are gorgeous.

I have done WW in the past as well (online and at work). I have found MFP to be just as useful (and free!). All WW is doing is calculating calories for you (but changing them to points). At the end of the day, it's the same thing. If you're not sure about meal planning, etc., WW does have some fantastic cookbooks.

I agree about the muffin. You could always try a whole wheat high fiber english muffin for 100 calories. I would stay away from jenny Craig. I used to work there and sure, you'll lose weight eating their food (or any frozen food that limits calories). And then they do steer you to your own food and you reach your goal.…

If you drank water for a week (for the majority of the day) you would probably start craving it and then drink it all the time. I carry a water bottle with me during the day. I have always drank water my entire life. My husband hates it and only drinks diet soda. I've begged him and pleased and he insists he is getting his…

Hi everyone. I'm 5'3 (well, almost) and weighed 144 on Monday. My MFP calorie is 1200 also, but doesn't include exercise calories. I was told by some nutritionists (not on this board) that I needed to "net" 1200 calories - to not go below that. I work out every day and get between 300-400 calories each day for that. I…

Curious how in the heck you burned 3500 calories in one day by walking? Did you walk from CA to NY? I run for almost an hour on the treadmill (about 50 mins) and only burn around 400. And what is your current weight? If you only need to lose 25 lbs, which is not a lot, I don't think you can (or should) lose 4 lbs in a week.

You need to add your exercise calories as well. My nutritional calories are 1200 but then I get extra for working out. If I don't work out that day, I need to just stay at 1200.

I'm new too and that was very helpful. thanks.

I too recommend the Couch 2 5k. It starts off with mostly walking and then each week builds up. If I can do it, anybody can!

Ok, so I'm new here and there's something I don't quite "get." My allotted daily calories are 1200. I receive 400 exercise calories, so that gives me a daily calorie allowance of 1600. Since you need to burn 3500 calories to lose a pound, I have been trying to "save" 500 calories a day (i.e. having them left over). I am…
