I went low-carb and worked out 3-4 times per week starting last June 2016. Since then I have lost 26 lbs, and about 15 inches altogether! It is SO worth it!

Hi! I would suggest that you either try a "clean" diet for a couple weeks, or even just go gluten-free. The reason I say this is that many times doctors don't check to see if you have a gluten-intolerance. It causes some people to gain weight, and it causes others to lose weight. I am going by these lists on CleanProgram.com... The cleanse-diet item has some non-gluten grains: Brown, red, black and wild rice, millet, amaranth, teff, tapioca, buckwheat, quinoa. Salty foods! Chips & salsa, crackers, - just salt, salt, SALT! Once I cut it out of my diet for a few days I no longer crave it much. It helps to avoid it too because it can make you retain water. I have cut out a lot of extra sodium, so now I don't drink diet sodas or do the salty stuff, and am feeling slimmer and lighter!

Hi Josh! Congrats on taking this step. If you need encouragement, look at the Success Stories posts. Keep logging your food and exercise daily and it helps you see how many calories you're taking in and when you are getting too much of something like carbs or sodium. Good luck! Keep us posted!!
