I know that lately I've been going over my calorie goal and I will occasionally pop a chip or almond or something extra in my mouth and those calories…
• I buy my bread from the bread outlet so, I have to take what they have in stock when I shop. Breads I've tried in the past: Sara Lee Delightful, Fiber One, Pita Pockets all coming in at around 100 calories/serving. This week I bought Arnold Stone Ground Wheat @ 2 slices for 130 calories as that was the lowest calorie bread…

• I think you're off to a great start. I would suggest what you are already doing - stay within your calorie limit and add some exercise. In addition to that I would tell you to log your calories even if you've gone over and to eat whatever foods you like. In my prior attempts with MFP there were times I went over and…

I totally agree with everything you said. Lots of times my logic and feelings aren't in agreement - working on that.…
• There is a Weekly Weigh In group under the group section. This may help you.
• Way to go!!
• If someone came up to me and just decided to tell me that I was getting too thin and my face no longer looked good - I would call that rude. Especially, if I didn't ask them their opinion. To me it's different if we solicit the opinions/advice vs. they just offer their unsolicited opinions/advice.

I did not take a progress picture at the beginning because I felt…
• I agree with @cmriverside. If 1200 is too agressive for you add some calories you will still lose. I started with similar stats as you with a 1lb/week goal and the 1500+ was enough for me to feel satisfied most days. I just knew for me that I couldn't start off w/1200 as I knew I wouldn't stick with it.
• I agree it's how/where we carry weight. I'm 5'6" 194. I am currently wearing a size 12 and they don't get baggy on me after wearing them for a bit. I am still able to wear my size 14 but, they eventually get baggy and I'm constantly pulling them up. I think it also depends on the brand you are wearing - I can not get into…

I suspect that is why the larger loss. This is around the weight when I was last active on MFP and lost weight where I started to…
• Welcome back. One thing that works for me is to log NO MATTER WHAT. I've had days where I was over my calorie goal by 1800-2000 calories but, I logged it regardless. Not only is it good for when you need to take a look back at your food log but, it's good for the routine of logging.
• I have been doing the same thing. I've used MFP in the past and there were days I stopped logging if I felt like a failure for the day, and that lead to not logging several days in a row and ultimately no logging at all. This time I have decided that I'm logging the good, bad, and ugly. There are days when I just don't…

My Mom asked if I was losing weight which is good for 2 reasons. #1 she's the first person to ask me. #2 she's also the person who sometimes…

One of them did fit but, I think it will look better with a couple more lbs. gone. The other one I got on but, it…
• Welcome back! That has happened to me more times than I wish to admit.

• I had known it was time for a while... clothes getting tighter, having to buy a larger size. But, it wasn't until I was looking at dresses for my nieces wedding and the size of the dress really bothered me. Along with the fact that I wouldn't "look good" in the style dress I wanted. Came home and started logging my food…
• A wedding is part of the reason I re-committed to MFP. My niece is getting married in September and I was at a store trying on dresses in the size I normally wear. I left the store so discouraged and logged back on to MFP the following day. I knew I had put on weight and I knew that I was buying a larger size but, seeing…
• I also buy most of my clothes at thrift stores. But, they can be hit or miss. I visit them often. Sometimes you find lots of things and sometimes you walk out empty handed.
• SW 208.6 lbs 2/10/18 GW 160 lbs (not sure if this is my actual goal) LW 200.4 lbs 2/23/18 CW 200.9 lbs 03/01/18 (+.5 lbs) Total weight loss: -7.7 Not surprised by the slight gain - actually surprised it isn't more. I stayed mostly within my calorie goals but, had a few days where the sodium was off the charts. Only…
• I love to cruise but, dang food everywhere you look! You've already lost 5 so keep up the good work and you will lose the last 3.
•
Love murder mystery parties! Have fun!!! And beware of "poisonous" food, so you don't overindulge. (I pretend the doughnuts at work have arsenic on them so I don't eat them anymore, lol)
Good advice. Got it!

The only thing I did differently was I drank a bit more water and I did come in under calories for a few days this week as I…
• I also weigh daily. I used to record every loss in MFP since re-joining I've started only recording my weight 1day a week.
• New to the group. SW 208.6 lbs 2/10/18 GW 160 lbs (not sure if this is my actual goal) LW 208.6 lbs 2/10/18 CW 204.9 lbs 2/16/18 (-3.7 lbs) Total weight loss: -3.7
• I have around 50 to lose. I was MIA from this site for a while - but, I'm back again. Though, I told myself this time I'm not going to focus on the 50 but, start w/the first 10. What usually happens with me is I"ll lose 10 or so lbs., my clothes will start to fit the way I like and I will get comfortable and I will loosen…
