  • I would do it again today...follow your routine you have planned. Usually it helps me with the soreness and I find that I am less sore, but that is just me. You can do a lighter version of your actually routine but try to do something to work out the soreness.
  • Thanks - those are great ideas...i should try to drink more water and I also think I need help! :) It is a weird thing...if i am sitting i need to be putting something in my mouth. I know I am not hungry...just want to eat.
  • I have heard a lot about p90X but my one concern is that I have a gym membership. When you do that program do you ONLY do that or do you still cardio as normal?
  • Yes for sure!

  • It does look fun! I am worried that I be able to do the obstacles. I figured any race that they give you a beer after is a good time.

  • Thanks everyone... I think I am going to look into Pilates. Isn't that what Madanna does - she is super toned. That was a good suggestion and worth a try. - Also review my weight lifting routine.
  • I work out in the early morning also and I know it is hard to get up. I have been doing it now for several months and not sure if the getting up part is any easier. :) Once you are physically out of the bed there is no turning back. I do have to really talk to myself and tell myself how good I will feel when it is done.…
  • Yes, on those symptoms for sure. At 5 months I didn't have a period and had all the symptoms but it just never got it. The other thing i have noticed is that the periods are a lot lighter but seems to linger longer.
  • I have had mine in for about 6 months. I did go through a pretty long period of my body getting used to it (4 months), almost to the point that I was going to take it out, but I am glad I didn't. I did have nausea, bleeding and cravings - very similiar to pregnancy symptoms so I few times I took a test to make sure. Right…
  • Here is what I had for breakfast: Both the milk and the toast put me over ... I drank the milk for the protein, toast for the carbs... Coffee - Brewed from grounds, 2 cup (8 fl oz) Hard Boiled Egg - Hard Boiled Egg, 1 egg Velda Farms - Skim Milk - Half Pint Carton, 1 Carton (236mL) Nestle - Coffee-Mate Hazelnut…

  • Yes, I do know what you are talking about. Everything revolves around a meal... the good thing for you is that you have will power something I have not managed to control. For me my family lives a few hours away so it is only on occasion that we see them. They do not have any interest in the outdoor activities I try to…
  • Yes, actually just his morning. I am not really training for anything but I am pretty close to my goal weight and since I have dropped some weight I feel like I am eating a ton. I did a spin class this morning and by the time I got home I just needed to eat... and didn't stop.Good things and some bad... I was like, what is…
  • Most mornings I have to pick up a friend on the way to the gym so that keeps me in check. She is super motivated and if i don't pick her up or we are late - I hear about it! :)
  • Thanks for the advice. I will just keep doing what I am doing... I am also a zombie in the morning until I am done. Then I feel so much better that I got up and got it out of the way.
  • I got an ipod touch for xmas and use it all the time. It is the first real "tech" toy i have ever had and i love it. My two boys love it as well.
  • To go along with the vitamins - I would ask your doctor to check your vitamin D levels. It has been stated that low vitamin D levels can also cause some of the same symptoms. So I asked my doctor to check my levels and they were pretty low - I now take a vitamin D supplement and B vitamin complex instead.
  • I also have an ipod touch that I log my food on. I found that if you put the general food name in rather then trying to be too specific it will give you a list and it is usually on there. Such as yogurt, rather then the specific name of the yogurt. You have to type in just right or it won't read it.
  • A good thing to grab in the morning is a hard boiled egg and fruit. I also work early and that seems to tide me over until i can have a snack later in the morning. You can get them already pre packaged and ready to go if you don't make them ahead of time.
  • Thanks so much for the advice. I know I shouldn't get stuck on what the scale says but it is hard not too. I will try to increase my cardio, right now it is between 25 and 30 minutes... if i can stand that! :)
  • Hi, I am also new to this board and have a couple suggestions that have helped me. I have found a great work out partner. I have been through a few friends that stick with it for a little while but it really helps if you have someone that is motivated like you. The best time I found to work out is early in the morning, I…
