I'm not trying to get out of my weight training today (usually when people say that they really are LOL!!), however, I have a trip/vacation planned for wednesday. this past tuesday i started weight training and i have been sore since tuesday, today i am supposed to do it again (i'm still sore!).
My question is should I or shouldnt' I do it today? I am not tryna be on my vacation stiff and can barely make it up and down stairs, walking and even squatting to use the bathroom (sorry for the graphics).
Lemme know what you all think, This is game time decision!!
THANKS!

I would do it again today...follow your routine you have planned. Usually it helps me with the soreness and I find that I am less sore, but that is just me. You can do a lighter version of your actually routine but try to do something to work out the soreness.0

I say do it also, as long as it is just muscle soreness and not a pain (injury) When I am sore, a good workout helps the soreness!
Have fun on your vacation!0 -

I am feeling the exact pains! I just started working out with a trainer and doing 30 Day Shred. I swear this works:
Drink a TON of water
Eat a banana
Take a warm bath with Epsom Salts
Keep woring out-the movement absolutely helps
And stretch A LOT--I mean like hold each stretch for at least 30 seconds and stretch every body part (only if warm, don't stretch a body that's been stationary)
Best of luck!0 -
Try and up your protein too to get those muscles recovering, too!0

I would definitely say work out today but as everyone suggested, STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH after!
In addition to drinking more water, eat a few hard boiled eggs and a banana or two (not together...unless you want to!!) to help heal your muscles.
Good luck and have fun on your vacay!0 -
