Question: I was 168 lbs pre-pregnancy. I lost 9 lbs during the 1st trimester and went down to 159, but now I'm up to 178. Would my overall weight gain be considered +10.0 (based off my pre-preg weight) or would it be +19, based off my 1st trimester, no-appetite, nauseated weight?

I'm 30 weeks along - due June 25 - and SO tired. Exercising used to give me energy, but my 2 or 3 aerobics classes a week have been totally wearing me out!! Sometimes I have to take naps in my car, or in the breakroom at work. I log my food everyday but do indulge in several 'naughty' items a day....logging helps me keep…

Congrats to all the other other expecting ladies! I'm due June 25th and it's my first baby. I'll be 20 weeks and I'm currently 165 lbs (and 5'11'')...I was actually 169 when I found out I was pregnant, which was the chubbiest I've ever been. So overall I'm down 4 lbs, but I know I'll be shooting up any day now.

You're doing great, and your success story might be exactly what some MFP newbie needs to see right now. Thanks for being an encouraging MFP friend and always having a positive comment on your friends' journals and activities! :-)

The only race I've ever thrown up at was unfortunately right in front of a Earthwise healthy grocery store. It was a 5k and I got my fastest time ever -- 24 minutes -- but then I ralphed all over the parking lot, right in front of the frontdoors. Felt sorry for the people leaving with their bags of groceries having to…

Me too, I've been 6'0" since 6th grade. (you know how fun THAT was... :) Feel free to add me, welcome to MFP!

I can relate. I remember in high school when I felt like I was having a 'fat day' and realizing I don't like how tapered 'Mom jeans' look on me! (thank goodness those went out of style) And that day a girl at lunch asked me if I was anorexic and how I stayed so skinny. I was so taken aback. (Dont know why she asked that, I…

WDEvy, totally agree on the spritzing thing!! Wish I'd known a logn time ago...like junior high...that the most important item in the curly girl's bathroom cabinet it just a tiny little spritzer bottle with water in it. I never go anywhere without it now!

Thanks for the replies everybody. I've done a little better lately with sleeping - yay!! - though I don't know what's caused the positive change. I didn't always have caffiene late in the day, but sometimes I did. I've quit having any caffiene after 12pm noon, so maybe that's helping.

has anyone tried dried shampoo? how well does that jive with curly hair?

Yes, lowest adult weight. Otherwise we'd all be putting our birthweight I guess. In which case my REAL lowest weight was actually 7 lbs 3 ounces :-)

Um, yes, can totally relate. In the morning my eyes pop awake and my brain screams 'FOOOOD! Get thee to the kitchen!!' and I scurry in there like it's been years since I've eaten. I start ripping into the salami, the peanut butter, a string cheese stick why not, guacamole & chips....I'm pretty sure I eat more breakfast…

@Beach Body Dan. I don't know the reason. I don't drink caffiene late at night or in the afternoon or anything. I just feel like my brain is on turbo mode, like I have 50 little TV screens with different thoughts, worries, & ideas that I can't seem to shut off. I've tried melatonin, diphenadrine and doxymaline (the over…

The thought of 'warm milk' makes me want to ralph, but since both of you have mentioned it maybe I should make myself try it. :-D I've had the sleeping issue for a couple of years. It sucks. I get so jealous of my husband, who falls asleep within a few seconds of laying down! I got the doctor to give me on 1 week's worth…

This happened to me too....trying to get my act together and shape back up. :-/

I've always had a 'thin frame' I guess, but my goal weight is 135. (Current weight, a squishy 150) When I was 135 I wore size 6ish in pants and felt like I was trim and in good shape; no fat love handles squishing out of my waistband. The pictures in my profile are of me at my goal weight, to inspire me to shed this extra…
