Gonna try quinoa for the first time too but struggling what to make that the whole family will eat!! Just wondering if anyone has tried it with curry instead of rice?

Just ordered it yesterday - awaiting delivery too. Can't wait!! Have you started it yet? How are you finding it?

I'm lucky in that respect in that I have a gym in my house and pretty much all the equipment you would ever need. I already work out 5-6 days per week - I try to do 25 mins strength in the morning before work and then fit in some cardio / HIIT in the afternoon but I'm just not getting the results I want. Now I've got to…

Just downloaded this book yesterday and about quarter way through reading it. So far all makes good sense. Not got to the actual workout / diet parts of the book yet so hoping others will post on here of their experience with this too

Waiting on the book getting delivered - bumped to keep up with any info / advice. Can't wait to read and get started!!

I have the fitbit one since April and love it - I paid about £80. It syncs with MFP, counts steps and calories burned, measures flights of stairs because it measures altitude, has an alarm and has a wristband to wear at night to measure your sleep quality. This was a big eye opener for me as I didn't realise how much I was…

ooft - lost count!! Several VHS tapes with about 100 episodes of aerobics oz style on, Rosemary Connely, Jillian Michaels full boxsets, Holly Rigsby Fit Yummy Mummy Transformation Pack, X-Train Fit, Insanity, P90X, Billy Blanks Tae Bo, Mr Motivator numerous celebrity dvd's, Strictly Come Dancing, new workout downloaded…

Hey, just wondering how you're getting on with X-Train? I've just started it and so far I find it like P90x. I have Insanity too and this is much easier than Insanity which is High Intensity interval Training with no equipment and really hard on the lungs lol. Have you had good results so far with X-Train?
-
I have just started this program ( I also have P90x). It is very similar to P90x and well worth the money so anyone thinking about using I would recommend it. Only wish I had found this before I spent the money on P90x but at least I have the discs for variation.

I agree with this but it really depends how big they are. But I don't think this is any worse than a fat bloke in a pair of trunks/swim shorts with his belly hanging over and man boobs on show but nobody ever questions if they should keep their t-shirt on :ohwell:

I have it with cereal and in protein shakes. Tried it in tea but it didn'r work  I buy the unsweetened kind but there are flavoured ones out there too but the calories will be higher.

I was just thinking the same thing. People who eat 1200 or under are doing more harm than good. Give your body what it needs - fuel. Average calorie intake for a woman is 2000 per day. To lose a pound a week you need a deficit of 500 cals so you should lose if you eat around 1500 cals a day. And if you exercise - eat back…

Got the same problem here but I've always had it since as long as I can remember. Did lots of sports at school and this was the results I guess. Interesting to see if anyone has any ideas but I don't think you can change it :frown:

I'm 37, mum to two boys age 9 and 6. I log every day and my diary is open. Friend request coming up - everyone else please feel free to add me too

I'm the same - 2.5 weeks left . I'm 5'3" and 172lbs and my average burn in month 1 was around 350 cals but in month 2 I am getting between 500-550 per workout. I feel so much healthier and my endurance has improved so much. Although I've only lost 1lb on the scales I've lost 4 inches on my waist, 3 on belly, 2 on bust, 0.5…

I've just ordered P90x but I've still 2.5 weeks of Insanity to complete but I will be giving myself a weeks rest and then straight into P90x. So I will probably be starting this around 12 June. Hoping to build a bit more upper body strength to help with those pushups lol

Friend request coming your way :flowerforyou:

bump to try later :)

Hi, I'm 5' 3" and currently weigh 172 lbs with a target goal of around 130lbs so not that far from your own situation (although I am a little bit older lol  ) I log on everyday and my diary is open so hopefully we can encourage each other to reach our goals. Feel free to add me

Yup, I second this. Also happy for you to add me for support :)

You need to eat or drink some good quality protein within 30 mins of a workout (chicken, tuna, nuts or shakes or even get some BCAA tablets). This helps to feed the muscle and prevent it from breaking down and helps prevent muscle soreness. It's also important to replace the glycogen stores which are used up during…

bumped to read tomorrow and redo my math :)
