I've never watched TBL or JM at all, so she's supposed to be scary? LOL. Is there any other special equipment that I would need?

WOW!

That's fantastic!!

I'm impressed with your results. The 30 day shred is *just* exercise, not a special diet too, correct?

I'm 5'1 : SW was 145 and my GW is 125.

I'd still go out with them and have fun. Can you make healthier food choices and skip the alcohol? Maybe you'll be a good influence on them.
-
Agreed! These forums are full of great advice, and great people who are SO willing to help.

I like Celestial Seasons teas like Lemon Zinger, Orange Zinger, Sleepytime. Get a sampler box and see what you like.

Not Catholic, but if it's important to you, then do it! You would be fasting if you were not on a diet, so I would not change that at all. If your friends don't understand that, then they need a flogging with a wet noodle.

Yes, and I'll enjoy every bite. I'm all about losing weight but not about depriving myself. :)

Hmm 500 calories for breastfeeding? I might get my 21 month old to start up again. JUST KIDDING!!!

Banana Bread! I'll have to try freezing some too, just to see what they are like when I pull them from the freezer. But hands down my favorite thing is banana bread.

Thanks. I did not know about the recipes tool right here!

I'm 5'1 and weigh 141 and I have around 18 lbs to lose. I just started so I don't have and after pics. My profile pic is what I look like now. I've been doing this for 15 days and feel like the weight is just not coming off. :( And I LOVE your profile pic, Millsiesgirl... EXTERMINATE!!

Hellman's Real Mayo. Even now that I'm watching my calories. No substitutions. :)

I'm relatively new to the site and the first few days I had it private. Then I was asking questions on the message boards and figured it would be helpful to me to have it open. Nobody has commented on it or asked questions. But my first reaction was to keep it closed b/c I was just using the site to track my calories. To…

I just tested my scale an it's pretty accurate. I weighed a 6.10 oz can of corn (i know, huge! but it's for a recipe) and it weighed in at 7 lbs. So, it's not that off. Good news for me.

It was at 4 after breakfast, lunch, tons of water.

This is a handy tool that calculates BMR and TDEE (with the reduction) http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

I think he's not used to your new body and might be having a hard time letting go of the old you.

Eat. Maybe an apple, or some peanut butter? Just because you go over your calls a little bit won't make it a bad day.

I lost a human brain-- hope it was not mine!

They are good, aren't they? I don't know about the nutrition 'worth' but they are filling and are a good option. If I'm right, they have no added sugar?

I'm 33 and was diagnosed 9 months ago w/ hypothyroidism. I think it's been a contributor for my weight gain and slow weight loss. I'd love to see what others say about this too.

Good luck! I hope it works for me. It makes sense when I read it, and it is operating on a calorie deficit, which is what we need to lose weight.
-
Symonep gave me this great link in my post: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ That will give you how many calories to eat with the deficit. I would not eat my calories back in that case.

I think about 3" wide and however deep it ends up being. :) Mmm.. cake!

LOL, I had to read the road map a couple of times and do the calculations as I read it to get the numbers right. The one thing that I feel was not explained well was how the TDEE was derived from the BMR calc. His explanation was really good.
-
Yes, thank you, your link confirmed the numbers. It cleared everything up for me. I don't know how to post images or I would post the numbers from both sites.

Thank you! So I was right about the f2f calc and it's caloric the 1925 (original calculation) was just the TDEE. To lose weight I must eat around 1540. That was very helpful BMR is 1394 TDEE is 1916 TDEE-20 is 1533
