Just did my second 5k race ever and finished in 22:33 and came in 2nd in my age division! I was excited :) Not sure if I want to aim for a better 5k time or move on to a 10k

Reduced guilt multigrain pita chips dipped in tomato&basil hummus

I hate doing pushups for that exact reason - I have really tiny, weak wrists and it hurts! I tried to explain this to my husband but he couldn't understand, as his wrists are really thick and solid. Pull-downs and flys are supposed to work the same muscles.

Steamed asparagus and raw sugar snap peas are probably my favorites. I could eat an entire bunch/bag in one sitting... especially if there's hummus involved.

I was JUST contemplating changing mine to that because sometimes I go a little over on my fat and under on my carbs, but I think I'm just going to stay with where I'm at because psychologically I'd rather see red in the fat column than red in the carbs column lol

I've played around with mine a lot and now I'm happy at 50%C 25%F 25%P

I actually am the opposite of most - I use whey because soy products upset my stomach. I can't touch on the nutritional benefits of one vs. the other, but I'd say use whatever works best for you!

Oh yeah I forgot, if you have cats, get the Tuna for Cats. Mine love it :)

I like their tomato and basil hummus, multigrain pita chips, frozen black bean & corn enchiladas, greek yogurt, and I haven't met a TJ cookie I haven't liked... but I try not to keep those in the house :)

Omg, almost forgot about that! I didn't own one of those bags, but I admittedly did own the same gauchos everyone had from Target. Quite possibly the most unflattering clothing item ever.

I graduated in '05... I didn't really keep up with the trends too much, but from what I can remember, it was being super tan, low-rise ripped jeans (either flare or bootcut - skinny jeans weren't popular yet), denim skirts, polo shirts (the age of the popped collar), american eagle/aeropostale/hollister/abercrombie,…

I actually don't think it tastes bad, but it doesn't really qualify as a substitute for peanut butter. It tastes more like candy. Not worth the cost IMO.

I put them in spinach salads too! Maybe with dressing on them you wouldn't mind it as much? I love them in any way, shape or form.

I'm currently maintaining, but I've had to gain a significant amount of weight in the past - if you need any support, feel free to add me!

I use Loratadine (same ingredient in Claritin and Alavert) and it helps me - I have really bad seasonal allergies. I buy it at Sams - it's $13.50 for 400 pills! Can't beat it! It doesn't make me tired... might be worth looking into.

There you go :) And wow, beautiful kitty!

omggg so cute!

Bananas are probably one of my favorite foods.. they satisfy my sweet tooth and give me a burst of energy. I have yet to hear anyone say "wow, all those bananas I've been eating really made me fat!" Like anything else, moderation is the key.

Are you doing all of this because you genuinely enjoy exercising or is it because you want to lose weight quickly? Are you eating enough to fuel that much activity? This might be an interesting read for you: http://psychologyofeating.com/happy-exercise-vs-stressed-exercise-theres-a-big-metabolic-difference/ For right now,…

- 40 miles each way, 5 days/week. Takes me about 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic (I only take 1 freeway the whole way there) -I drive a Ford Fusion -I fill up about once/week, and it costs about $50-55 if I'm near E. I miss my days of having a 5 minute commute :(

You don't have to but it tastes WAY better than mixing it with water :)

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Double Chocolate Whey blended with almond milk, banana, spinach, PB, and ice... SO good.

I get bored easily... I switch it up between doing the elliptical (intervals), running outside, Zumba, kickboxing videos, 30 day shred, calisthenics, strength training, walking... I usually try to get in at least 30-60mins/day, with a couple days being low intensity or just stretching and rest.

Dear 16 year old me, You're smart, you're beautiful, and you're loved. You don't have to pretend to be ok all the time - nobody's perfect. Please start taking care of yourself, and stop pushing people away, especially the boy who will eventually be your future husband. You have a bright future ahead of you, but you're…

I'm not overweight by any means, but I definitely have to be a lot more conscious of my intake and be more strict about my exercise schedule now that I work a desk job. The only excuse I really have to get up is to go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, or grab my lunch... at least the bathroom and drinking fountain are…
