@karllundy Runner crazy is the good crazy!

Congrats on meeting your goals, everyone! I started my week with some raging poison ivy, but squeaked out another seven the past couple of days. I'm at 88.5/80. Naturally I'm going to have to run a few more miles tonight now.

@kristinegift @skippygirlsmom I'm really liking this dried fruit idea for longer runs! Just now getting to the point where I should probably start bringing a little something along on long runs and just can't bring myself to by goos and candy, stuff I normally wouldn't eat. Looking forward to trying the dried fruits out!

@_nikkiwolf_ 16 years?! That's a long time! I'm having a hard time with letting go, but it's time... Good for you, running past the gym! I hate the gym, but keep my membership because, well, I don't always hate it, lol. Sometimes it's a necessary evil. Mine is a 24 hour deal though, which I like because I can go at odd…

@GBrady43068 Good job on registering! Is this your first race? And great choice on the slow and easy. @kristinegift "what's your damage" -- hahaha!! @skippygirlsmom 3.5 is about the time I start looking for a creek to play in, too! Smart dog! @Aresende90 Congratulations on the 10k! @baldielove13 Can't wait to see what you…

3.5 recovery run, dedicated to my beloved car that gave his all getting me to the trails this morning, only to have the clutch go out a mile before.....Cue the bugles. So I got some walking in, too. And had time to go over many wonderful memories. This brings me to 80.9 / 80. Goal has been reached and will be passed with…

@skippygirlsmom Dysentery would serve them right!

77.4/80 10.5 trail run this morning. New distance for me. @mwyvr @WhatMeRunning Think I could drink that?
-
So many great things going on here, very inspiring! Finally got back out on the trails today. Humidity really messed with my asthma, but still enjoyed being back where I belong. 3.5 today. 66.9/80. Rest day tomorrow and for once I'm looking forward to it. Found this aku Skunk tail with no body or signs of struggle in…

3.5 of dreadmill in socks. Will continue with that next two just to make sure I can enjoy the trails for Sunday's long run. 63.4/80.

@CrimsonWhite Those are fantastic paces, don't sell yourself short! With you 100% on running in cooler temps. I'm ready for autumn and some mid 40's mornings/evenings. @Elise4270 Such a beautiful picture, thanks for sharing! @5BeautifulDays It really depends on my run, mileage, time of day, etc... For early morning runs…

@shanaber I always wanted a sister! Well, one that I like anyways!
-
I've got 59.9/80 completed. Did 4.5 today. On the dreadmill. In socks. My Sunday run may have possibly made the skin tear on top of my foot a little worse.... I want it to heal, but don't want to miss out on training. Glad I kept my gym membership.

I'm Marathon Bouncy Boobs. = )

8.5 done on new trail through Maumee State Forest. Loved it. More technical than what I have been running, great experience. 55.4/80
-
@unrelentingminx Congratulations!!! That is a great accomplishment! @JimCrackinDandy I'm rooting for you! Can't wait to hear all about it, best wishes for a wonderful experience!
-
Not all exercise calories need to be eaten back. In fact, unless you're hungry, you shouldn't be eating anyways.
-
Oh yeah, so I got 1.6. 46.9/80. @Elise4270 So sorry about the bad news at work. And as far as hills go, there's not many in my area, but there's down at my upcoming races, and I will be shamelessly walking up all of them! Might roll down one just for giggles.

Grumpy. Run was interrupted by minor injury, small stone ripping a layer of skin off of my foot. I'm the genius who took he First Aid kit out of my car and didn't put it back or else I might have been able to finish. First run out with Inov8 Trail Roc 150's. Started out great though, even despite the humidity.
-
@7lenny7 That sounds like a blast!! Don't blame you know the costume, I would want to be careful to make sure it was something that wouldn't interfere with my running, too.
-
@7lenny7 A Halloween race sounds like fun! Which one are you doing? That's a great idea, I'm going to hunt for one right now.
-
@mwyvr Told you I came on here for a laugh, figured this thread would be perfect for a few laughs, didn't expect it to come from you though. Hahahaha!
-
@shanaber Maybe more like "what hill?". Lol!
-
Good luck, can't wait to hear all about it!
-
3.7 today. Goofed off a lot on the trail, as I tend to do..... Heard a squirrel chattering away above, then got hit in the head with a stick and had another land right by me. Booger had good aim. And low tolerance for my nonsense, lol! Traps were bare, but there is more rain in the forecast for this weekend. 45.3/80
-
@Stoshew71 That's a fantastic message!
-
Nothing like a run to let you know that you are in fact sick. Four very rough miles, but with nice scenery. (I was already at the trail, figured I might as well suffer through it.) 41.6/80

@skippygirlsmom A year sounds like an awful long time to be away from your spouse, hope it goes fast for you! If I catch anything noteworthy, I will be sure to tell about it.
