My jump rope goes with me on vacations. It’s a great all rounder:Cardio, stamina, endurance, coordination and leg workout. Mine also has weights in the handles.

I love JM workouts and have most of her DVDs. They’re good, but the kitchen determines your progress. I follow her group on FB. I just did her Yoga Inferno DVD yesterday.

What is the split training program?

Interesting article and revelation about coconut oil. Ironically article states that coconut oil is counted as a solid, fact is it does solidify at room temp during non summer months. As always thanks for sharing

Thumbs up to you! That's what we're supposed to do in life anyway, surround ourselves with like minded people.

Personally I disagree with all who agree with this posting. If you take yourself out of the "temptation" then how do you conquer it. Avoidance can only last but for so long and no man is an island. You don't necessarily have to "explain" anything to anyone just make healthier wiser choices when you do go out. You may be…

The Bullet is great, cannot remember the price. I've had it for years.

Congratulations to you. You have every reason to be PROUD. Continued progress on your journey.

The goal is NOT to eat UNDER 1200 calories, but MINIMUM 1200. Even minimum for most is putting the body into starvation mode. The concept definitely is NOT eat less to lose. It's the opposite one MUST feed the body, especially if you're active. Continue to eat more nutritious calories. Best of luck.

Another suggestion is to break up your daily workout. If you cannot do 30 mins straight, do three 10 min workouts. If you came do a whole hr, then do a 1/2. Anything is better than nothing. Also try to implement daily walks. I make sure to walk a minimum of 30mins daily. Stay Motivated and Focused.

All good from beginning to end. I feel sorry for the % of women who has never experienced the BIG "O".

No, everyone definitely is not strong willed enough to work out at home (alone); and some are too intimidated to work out in a gym. Either way suits me fine. Currently I do not attend a gym, I have my workout days scheduled and my motivation is the image in my mind of what I want to feel and look like (inside/out) not the…

I'm available, I'll tell you get a dark chocolate bar. That way you can satisfy your crave while eating the "good" chocolate. No deprivations here. All good choices, all in moderation.

They're definitely wrong. All movement is considered exercise...pulling, pushing, bending, lifting, taking steps...they all add up.

Wow, I've always wanted to try Zumba. I did last Saturday and had a BLAST. I will be off to Zumba class in an hour.

I just posted the same question, then I see yours. I'm also contemplating. Like the fact of knowing the range of how many steps taken and climbed. But I need to know calories burned for workouts within a reasonable range.

Wow, marry...LOL

First of all you will have to change your "Lousy Diet" to better food choices. Stop looking at it as a "diet", but as a life long journey of balance and nutrition. Balanced food groups combined with exercise. Change your mind, change your future.

true, plus I don't see how people actually "survive" off the MINIMUM.

I totally agree with this statement. I NEVER have and NEVER will practice any of those "diets". I eat a balanced "all inclusive" meal and exercise my butt off. I recently fasted for Spiritual reasons, nothing to do with nutrition.

Congratulations on your current success. Your story will help to encourage many. Good Luck with your journey.
