Run/walk alternate from what I have been told. I haven't been in a 5 K yet but plan on that in the near future.. You may want to check out these cool 5K's also... 5 K Foam Fest, Glow Run 5K and the color run 5K.. I wanted to run in the Color me Rad run in Baltimore but it is already full!!! Good Luck
