  • Download MFP to your phone so you will always have it with you.
  • Cooking can be overwhelming, if you don't like to do it. How about on Sunday you prep everything for the week and then it won't be as daunting for you.
  • It doesn't seem like it's working for you and its costing you money. Are there any other WW groups you can join with younger people? Or have you ever thought about going on meetup.com and finding a workout group close to your area? By the way I felt the same way about WW, too many people who weren't close to my age.
  • [/quote] Yes, I definitely had to have been eating more plus not working out. I am not sure how much I was eating because I did not track it. I gained about 15lbs in the last yr. The extra10 I need to lose is a new goal. It is easier with the apps but its very time consuming. I KNOW ITS AN EXCUSE lol. I actually did count…
  • I don't like calorie tracking either but honestly with all of the apps today its really not that hard. Unless you can lose weight estimating all of your food choices I would suggest you find some time to calorie count. You could write down everything you eat during the course of the day then add it later at the end of the…
  • My excuses were stress, grieving, and depression. My solution now is to love myself more and be the best I can be overall.
  • It might be water weight or muscle. You might want to start tracking your measurements so scale fluctuations wont be as daunting.
  • If I were you I would get a food scale you might be overeating and not realizing it. Scales are fairly cheap and if you can't find one order one from Amazon. Also I would recommend getting recipes from Cooking Light they have lots of quick and easy low calorie recipes.…
  • Although I agree with you for the most part, I don't think you understand the urban/colloquial meaning of hater: hater A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person. Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy.…

  • Been there done that girlfriend! I think that when I lose motivation I try to look at what I've already accomplished because it is so easy to gain the weight back plus some! Also I have been trying to do things socially that require me to get moving for instance I play tennis weekly. I wasn't that great at first but now…
  • The best thing I can say is don't give up because YOU ARE WORTH IT! You have to believe it wholeheartedly and embrace it. Yeah I know easier said then done and quite frankly I fight with this myself. I had a sister that passed from cancer and I just hate knowing that she regretted wasting time and not accomplishing certain…

  • See a nutritionist and get him tested he might have other problems
  • I liked it my only question was they did not explain how Professor X came back after being killed (obliterated) by the Phoenix.
  • I battle depression myself and I really understand where you are coming friend. A friend request has already been sent to you!
  • SMDH I give up and now I don't care
  • Screaming at me does not help your cause. Also if you would have read the words in my first sentence without emotion "The other irony to this whole conversation of fat pride is no one I think has mentioned you have to love yourself to give a crap enough about being healthy". The words "I think" would denote I am not…
  • That's a positive look on "fat acceptance" she loves herself enough where she wants to do better. I can totally understand how when you do things out of spite they are FAR harder to maintain if you did it for yourself in the first place.
  • The other irony to this whole conversation of fat pride is no one I think has mentioned you have to love yourself to give a crap enough about being healthy. When you don't care about yourself you don't see the point in doing anything to improve your situation. Therefore I think if "fat acceptance" focused on anti-bullying,…
  • Me too and that is not cool either
  • You took this really personally and I understand why. From what I read no one was condoning bullying or feeling good about yourself as a human being. Most people here are talking about the perceived health issue from being overweight and underweight and killing yourself slowly is nothing to be proud about. Because really…
  • This makes so much sense both ends of the spectrum are HIGHLY unhealthy and lead to a slow death...who want to celebrate that?
  • Perfect analogy to show how crazy the idea is. Now I don't support making people feel like crap because of how they look AT ALL. But, I CANNOT & WILL NOT support ANY idea that supports being unhealthy.
  • I had a total of 71 pounds to lose. I'll add you as a friend.
  • I have a total of 71 pounds to lose please go ahead and add me.
  • I walk 5 miles every day because I don't want to spend the money on gym. Walking really works! Next month I will probably increase my mileage so my body doesn't adjust. Also you could start training for a 5K there are plenty of free apps for that.

  • Okay first congrats on your health progress that is amazing! I have a question I have been walking 5 miles a day playing tennis and swimming twice a week, and trying to do T25 in the mornings or evenings. Yesterday I felt so tired and fatigued that I almost didn't make my swim class till I sat in the whirpool and felt tons…
