  • Great progress! You look so much happier.
  • You need to celebrate your current success, it in not a little accomplishement! Way to go! There are days that I feel unmotivated also, a few things I do. Get up and go for a quick walk.. Put on my workout clothing even if I am not in the mood...If I have gone that far chances are I am going to do it. Put in my workout…
  • I just turned 42 last weekend and started my fitness journey again last fall, however I just started using MFP recently and am trying to get back in shape.....If I can try to help either of you please add me as a friend....I would love some extra support also...I have lost about 10 pounds since I started my journey and 2…

  • I am a 42 year old mother of 1 and would love to add some more friends also......I think we can all motivate each other...When I start a new workout I am always intimidated a bit, and it is challenging for me to put it out there at times that I need help. You will do fine, just be honest with yourself and have a good WHY…
  • I used to love morning workouts, and then I got in a funk......Have been struggling myself with morning workouts....and know that when I did them in the morning I felt awesome all day long....After I get through this bout of broncitis that I have come down with that is my goal to get back to morning workouts......For me…
  • Great Progress! Keep up the good work!
  • It really is a great idea....and you know you don't have to put on a bathing suit or anything....Sometimes that helps also...But it is so true that if you are working hard at it you will see the difference, just give it a little time.
  • Chocolate......I love chocolate....I don't buy it very often. I also love to bake and love to make triple chocolate truffles...omg...my mouth is watering! I do allow myself a small piece of dark chocolate from time to time just to take care of the sweet tooth.
  • I agree! Eliminate the soda!!!!! I did and am so glad...I now drink over a gallon of water a day....and feel better for it. The carbonation and all is what got me......I am much less bloated since I eliminated it and don't have the cravings either.
  • When I was to low, I didn't gain, but I didn't go down either...I found that when I bumped my calories up to about 1700 I actually started to lose.....you have to feed your body with the right stuff, and yes I agree make sure you are logging everything.......Also when you workout, you body needs more.....
  • It depends on you situation, I agree...I have to wear shoes...I have spurs and plantar fasciitis......so I would say if you are not having any issues then you are probably ok.
  • That is how I log mine.....I do alot different exercises....Like Les Mills Combat and find calories burned changes from workout to workout, so Iog alot of mine that way.
  • I have the same monitor, but haven't had it that long, so some great information.
  • Also did you set your age and weight it in???
  • Does it have a chest strap?
  • I have only been doing this a short while myself....feel free to add me! I found it over whelming at first when I started tracking everything...You won't figure it out overnight, it takes time. It is very eye opening to see where your calories come from and for me sugar was a big one that I struggled with... Give it time…
  • I would definitely look at your water intake ( I drink a gallon a day) and would also visit with you doctor.....There might be something else going on there....
  • Heck yes you can see a difference! You should be so proud of what you have accomplished...I am the same way....I don't notice it as much until I take pictures...and then I am Wow...I really did improve. WAY TO GO!
  • The scale isn't my friend...sounds like it might be the same for you. I have found that a few things....muscle weighs more then fat....you build muscle from the inside out.....And I moved my scale to a different part of the house.....I got totally discouraged when I used it....Now I use the tape measure as my measurement…
  • My personal goal is to drink at least a Gallon of water a day! I have found I feel better and tend to be less bloated.
  • I am finishing week 4 and haven't lost any weight, but can tell a difference.......think I need to down size my pants... I love the Combat series.
  • I did P90X as my first workout in the fall....I did well with it and made some good improvements....I struggled off and on, but I think that is normal for any workout program...I always want results faster then what I get them.... I would love to help you out...If I can give you any advice based on how it went for me....
