Hey, I did one bridge pose today!!
-
I managed a 1,000 calorie burn one time. I had taken a hip hop cardio class, followed by a yoga class, and reached around 950, so I decided to hop on the stair stepper to burn the remainder for fun. That was over two hours worth of hard work at 220 lbs.

I think it's fine! But I might do a rest day.
-
I like Chobani.
-
I wouldn't personally drink a protein shake before AND after a workout. I'd have it either before OR after, and the other, I'd have a protein-filled snack (i.e. nuts, hard boiled egg, yogurt, etc.) :)
-
That escalated a bit quickly. Completely unnecessary suggestion.

Some of my favorite breakfasts include: Oatmeal (usually original, with stuff added in; chia seeds, nuts, brown sugar, etc.) Eggs (hard/soft boiled, whites and/or whole eggs, plain or add a bit of low-fat cheese or sriracha) Fruit (endless possibilities) turkey bacon or sausage dry wheat toast with PB and banana healthy…

Welcome to MFP! Feel free to add me!

Fantastic job! I can't picture you another 25 lighter, but you know you! Be proud!
-
LOL. yeah, me too.
-
right. this, exactly.
-
First time around, it took nearly 50 lbs before people were really saying things. Granted, I'm a bigger gal. People could be noticing and just not saying anything, for fear of offending you or otherwise.
-
I will probably need to at least log occasionally forever.
-
oh my gosh! D:

Fantastic work! That is a huge accomplishment; one to be proud of. So yay you! I think your idea of switching to calorie counting vs. WW is a good one.WW is really good for helping people who are starting off and learning portion control, etc. but when you get down to a certain weight/number of points, you aren't always…
-
This. I agree with lifting and doing strength training, but ALONG with cardio.
-
yep, this.
-
This seems ridiculous and unnecessary.
-
CONGRATS!! You can do it. I'd love to be mfp friends!

Just for today(tonight), I will.... Workout with hubby and eat a healthy dinner afterwards.

Feel free to add me! (anyone!) I could always use more support too!

I, personally, just found the advice of my professional dietician to be most useful. If you think skipping breakfast is good for you and works, then go for it.
-
I don't think timing is necessarily important, I just know that it helped me go a long way. Eating breakfast gives you energy, keeps you full longer, etc.
-
You can do it! You'll feel much better than if you don't!
-
I lost my initial weight by incorporating breakfast. (I used to be just like you) You need to eat breakfast. Even something small is fine! Oatmeal (you can add a plethora of things to oatmeal!), fruit, eggs, turkey bacon, healthy breakfast sandwich, even a granola bar.
-
Welcome! :)

This. I'd love to be a morning workout person, but it doesn't work for me very often. So I do what I can!

If this is legitimate, I'd love to be your MFP friend!
