Drinking green tea has its benefits, and I certainly love having it in the evening to finish my day. I, personally, feel like it helps me to be less bloated. But no, it won't burn fat.

I would have trouble returning after a full week, myself. However, I always listen to my body. If I'm tired/super sore/achy, I will skip a workout or two. I know the difference between "I don't feel like it" and really needing a rest.

You're "allowed to do the same", or you don't want to sink to the other person's level? I wouldn't be rude back, just because I don't want to be like that person (tearing others down). In fact, the best way to get to them is by being super nice. but that's just me.

Are you tracking everything properly? Do you exercise? 55 lbs since August is awesome.

You should follow what MFP sets, or even eat a little more. 1200 is the bare minimum.
