I don't watch the number anymore. I don't even really look at the inches. I try on clothes (which I guess is kinda the same thing but without the measuring tape). I know what I want, its to be smaller and healthier. I don't mind losing the weight slowly, I've come a long way already and I intend to keep going. There are a…

cake! even worse if someone puts ice cream on it, soggy cake! YUCKY! or any breads or biscuits with gravy, or dumplings (soggy bread), bread pudding even yuckier especially if cream and caramel sauce are put on them (my mo-in-law serves it, its disgusting!)

awesome, those look fantastic! If I don't make them for this potluck, I'm going to make them for us to snack on! Thanks bunches!

add me if you like, I still have about 80 left to lose and am never short of needing or giving motivation.

I agree with some of the posts about limiting your drinks. An interesting note from a study I recently read, if you mix your hard alcohol with a diet soda/pop you'll get more of a buzz. I can't remember the reasoning, I think it has something to do with sugars/carbs but I guess what I'm saying is you'll get more of a buzz…

I'm working on my pooch right now. Its slow going but keep up your exercising and watch your diet and it'll eventually shrink. Mine is shrinking and now is mainly an piece of hanging flab and so I'm wearing control undergarments to put it where its supposed to be. I know this isn't the case but I like to think its helping…

I buy an outfit about 1 size too small and work to fit into it! I've already gotten into my company jacket, a dress, jeans and a capris set I bought years ago but have never been able to fit. Plus we booked a trip to Disneyland in December for our 35 birthdays and I want to go on a shopping spree for cheap U.S. clothes (I…

I did the 30 day squat challenge. All I have to say is it was AWESOME! I know that sounds weird but I noticed a change, my thighs are stronger, my butt is slowly tightening up, I've got chunks missing where it seems to be burning fat. BUT I noticed that I can't stop at one month because I have a big butt, so I'm continuing…

I went from a size 20 to 16 after dropping 15 to 20 lbs. But I'm losing inches not a lot of numbers of the scale. I'm in the process of looking for size 14 pants now.

Awesome job! I'm hoping to get into those soon! Happy Friday!

I mix mine with my yogurt in the morning or with juice and drink it with a straw. I get my at my local Nutter's health food store. 1 lb (or 454 g) is approximately $13.99 to about $18.00 depending on the brand. A note of caution though, I'm not sure if anyone this is common knowledge but chia is a blood thinner and…

lasagna. Its hard to avoid at a restaurant, I've always loved lasagna.

I work out more on the weekends so I can afford to have a little more or treat myself. I try to always make sure I have a deficit on weekends in case something comes up thats out of my control or some event I want to take part in comes up.

250 squats done! thanks for this awesome challenge, its motivated me to do more, I did a virtual 5K on the weekend, and have signed up for 50 miles in May Challenge. I also want to keep up with the squats, but not 250, lol, maybe 100 to 150 on the same type of schedule. Awesome challenge! Thanks again!

I'm in! wish me luck, I'm gonna need it!

You've got a good question. All I can really think of is to eliminate bread, cut back pastas and switch to whole wheat and potatoes, well we have pretty much eliminated potatoes except the odd meal here and there and replaced them with other veggies, like we'll have a salad and roasted zucchini, grilled asparagus or…

I use recipes as guidelines only, even baking, I'm always adding, subtracting, substituting and making it better. I find a lot of recipes lack flavour! :flowerforyou:

Fantastic, you're an inspiration to me!

I cut mine up into bite sized pieces, toss with about 1 tbsp canola oil, little bit of my McCormicks no salt added seasoning, roast at like 375 or 400 for about 30 minutes. Sometimes I toss them in about 1 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp maple syrup to add a little sweetness along with the seasoning mixture. They're pretty yumm and…

Exercise and building/maintaining muscle will help tone your arms, legs etc. Changinng your diet is great, making sure you stay within your calories can help but it won't tone your muscles, it'll just let your fat slowlly burn away, don't get me wrong weight will come off. But you will need to do some strength training to…

awesome! My husband and I wanted to do a mini 5K together, we ended up walking close to 7K (about 4.3 miles). You did fantastic, there is no written rule that you have to do your walking all at once. You should be proud of your work. Eventually you can work up to the 5 miles if you want or at least keep it for weekends.…

Awesome! I purged my closet a few weeks ago, so far they are all in our spare room, I only put clothes that fit into my closet and its empty looking like yours! You're doing such a fantastic job, isn't it amazing how strong we are when we've got the right motivation. I also want to thank you for your tip about the…

My husband and I finished our 5k this afternoon, we actually ended up going a little further (about 6.5K), it was great! The sun was shining, it was warm, a great workout. Thanks for the idea.:flowerforyou:
