Simple curry: Diced chicken and sweet potatoes, frozen peas, coconut milk, red lentils, mild curry paste served with brown rice! Quick lunch: Microwave a whole sweet potato for 5 mins. Serve with beans and tomatoes.

Me: 8 LNS: 3* It was only a slice of bread and butter before bed when I was hungry. Happy I chose that over the junk food at least!

I usually have a small snack between dinner and bedtime. 1 slice of whole grain toast with chopped banana is delicious! I tend to have a smaller breakfast so I can save cals for my after dinner snack.

I go through phases. I've just recently come out of a really bad phase of binge eating! Every evening after dinner my roommates would buy giant bags of potato chips, sweets and chocolate to share. Between the 4 of us I would eat half the junk.. I just can't stop myself once I get the taste! I stopped trying to eat the junk…

Me: 7 LNS: 2* It wasn't really that late but it was after dinner and I wasn't hungry. Being strict so counting this as a minor slip up. Won't happen tomorrow.

A simple Pasta Salad for a meatless Monday: Whole wheat fusilli Tinned tomatoes Chickpeas Kidney beans Sweet corn Peas Aubergine Pumpkin seeds ..and whatever else I find in the kitchen!

I try have something healthy that will fit in with my macros. For example: if I'm short on protein that day I might make myself scrambled eggs

Get them out of your house! If they are not there to tempt you it's a lot easier. Plan ahead - before you go to the supermarket make a list of adequate, healthy foods to last the week. Every night or morning I plan what I'm going to eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks and roughly what time. If I don't do this I'll just…

CEREAL. A gigantic bowl of cereal. Weetabix, Shreddies, All-Bran, Special K topped with milk and a big spoonful of sugar of course. I used to eat so much Special K I had to stop buying it. I also used to add a spoonful of sugar to my cereal which I'd never dream of doing now. I sometimes chop in a banana if I want the…

I was having a huge chocolate binge and was so disgusted with myself I threw the rest of the chocolate in the bin. A few days later I was craving chocolate so bad I took it out of the bin and ate it. In my defence, the chocolate was in an open wrapper and the bin was shallow and didn't have too much rubbish on top of it..…

ME: 6* LNS: 1 Haven't binged once either or had any treats!!

Stir fry! Cut up chicken breasts and throw them into the wok. Prepare peppers, onions, corn, lime juice, nuts/seeds, seasoning of your choice (cinnamon) etc. and toss them into the wok. Most noodles take only 5 minutes to cook in boiling water so boil the kettle to heat the water to save time!

I've only recently fallen in love with tomatoes! I used to be a ketchup addict so decided to wean myself off the sauce and replace it with the actual fruit/veg (the debate goes on) instead. Today I had 2 medium tomatoes and 6 cherry tomatoes. So delicious. Much better to be addicted to than ketchup!

Flavoured rice cakes! Lightly salted, chocolate, Apple & cinnamon etc.

Me: 5* LNS: 1 The one night I snacked before bed wasn't junk food, it was a sandwich, so it's still better than binging on crap!

I agree, stop buying nuts! Drink loads of water. I personally like to have a hot cup of water with a wedge of lime, it keeps me distracted. Another thing I used to do in summer was to freeze juice ice cubes with a lollipop stick and have these when I wanted to binge. I assume you are not actually hungry but just craving…

Anytime I've gone long periods without alcohol I definitely notice a difference. However, I don't think it has much to do with the calories from drink rather than the calories I consume from junk food because of drink. Anytime I drink I will eat crap at some stage.
-
I'd avoid these.. they seems unnatural and a bit unrealistic! You would be better off sticking to a healthy diet and exercise and focus extra time on toning the muscles around your midsection. Some people naturally have a bigger hip-to-waist ratios than others.
-
Yep definitely! It all adds up. I eat a lot of bananas so makes a huge difference to my overall calorie consumption. I log every single little thing I eat, even if it's just a bite of someone else's food.

Weetabix or Branflakes?

Chicken Eggs Bananas Almond milk Tomatoes Peppers Sweet potatoes Brown bread

I love eggs! Scrambled with tomatoes and onion for a savory snack or make a pancaked mixed with a banana for a sweet snack.
-
I cut out juices (I only drink water now) and ketchup.
-
I think it's ok to eat later but as long as you're not overeating. I try to have dinner around 8pm and then I'll have a small snack (like banana on toast) close to bed time so I'm not hungry going to bed.

All Bran and Weetabix are my favourite healthy cereals! Full of fibre and filling. Just be careful not to exceed the recommended portion size. I love to have unsweetened almond milk with my cereal and sometimes chop in half a banana.
