  • I will keep playing with it! I suppose it may take some time to get to know my activity, etc. Thanks so much for your help!
  • I'm usually good with gadgets (my sister calls me "Gadget Girl") but this is confusing the heck out of me. I changed my exercise to 1 in MFP & it went up about 7 pts in BMF so I just deleted the exercise from MFP & nothing changed in BMF. In MFP it shows "BodyMedia calorie adjustment 125" under Cardio Exercise. The other…
  • Wow! 50+ miles at 17 mph is awesome! I'm now 252 lbs (down from 312 lbs) & have been riding for 2 months. So far I'm only doing 16 miles at a slow 10 mph. On MFP it's listed as "Bicycling, <10mph, leisure..." Believe me, for ME it is NOT leisurely! MFP gives me 457 cals burned for 60 mins cycling, however, Map My…
  • I will receive my BodyMedia band tomorrow so I've been doing a lot of reading to see what to expect. I cycle also & was wondering how to track those calories. Map My Ride always gives me a much larger calorie burn than MFP. Anyway, I found this info under BodyMedia Support on their website: My Armband is not recording all…
  • That happened to 3 of mine. I pd the extra for the warranty on the DVD's, they sent me 3 new ones, no questions.
  • When I think I've only lost 56 lbs, it seems like that number should be higher after 5 mos and I still have at least 100 lbs to get to a "normal goal weight". But, it seems the Les Mills Pump & biking has made a difference in my shape. A few months ago I heard a podcast where a woman said when she was overweight she was a…
  • LOL!! Thanks everybody for the encouragement!
  • That's interesting, I never thought of the type of bike. I just looked again at MFP app, it does have a choice for "Bicycling, BMX or mountain (cycling, biking, bike riding)". I entered the time I rode yesterday under this category & it estimated 610 calories burned. I was thinking more about how much effort it takes me to…
  • I just saw your msg - thanks! :)
  • I'll check out the TDEE - thanks!
  • Check out Bodylastics on Amazon. I have a space issue too. These are very good quality and compact.
  • I use Map My Ride app to track my bike rides outside. Today I went 4 miles, 27:20 mins at 8.8 mph, burned 356 calories. When I entered it in MFP under Bicycling <10 mph it calculated 216 calories burned. On both of these I was able to enter my age, gender, current weight, etc. but still got quite a difference. I usually go…
  • I already bought the step and am waiting for the DVD's to arrive. I'm trying to follow the schedule that came with the program but I have a hard time with Flow & Hard Core Abs. Clearly I need them, but I'm so stiff and not flexible at all. I have so much fat everywhere literally from the tips of my toes to the top of my…
  • What you say makes sense to me. As I've read more about lifting that seems to be the consensus. At this point, I still have about 115 lbs to lose to get to a "normal" weight & thought BP would be a good start. During one of my recent workouts I found myself thinking what would I do after this 90 day program. I wasn't sure…
  • Good to know there are still people doing this. By the time I finish the 90 days it will be the end of Sept. Hoping for good results. Is there a support group here for LMP?
  • Mine went through the washer and dryer this morning! I discovered it while folding my clothes. It had a big grin :D and logged over 3500 steps! Thank goodness it wasn't damaged....it sure was happy. LOL!
  • Modified C25K program 3 times per week, just started Les Mills Pump last week.
  • Congrats on your success!
  • If there is any room I would like to be added too please! thanks.
  • Congrats on your success! It is hard and deflating to gain back what you already worked so hard to lose. Been there, done that more than once :( I'm proud of you for not throwing in the towel and giving up. You got yourself back on track and went beyond your goal!
  • If you are doing C25K wouldn't that be considered your cardio? I do C25K 3x a week and Les Mills Pump (at home) 3x a week, then rest one day.
  • It is hard to see that number go up on the scale. I've been trying to remind myself this is going to happen every month, expect it, hang in there until it passes. It's only temporary. A couple of months ago I went up 5 lbs. During the whole PMS time and during my cycle I stayed consistent with my exercise & eating program.…
  • Hi! I use the Ease into 5K app to track my progress. I got to WK3 but decided to go back to repeat 1 & 2 then switched it up even more. :D On 6/1/13, it showed I went 2 miles, burned 369 cals, for 35 mins. I am 54 yr old female with hypothyroidism and at that time was 274 lbs. For the past couple of weeks I've just been…
